“Frederick House is a great place to stay when visiting Staunton. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The accommodations and amenities are first-rate, and the B & B is centrally located to the city’s major points of interest and restaurants. My breakfast choice was exceptional—delicious fresh fruit , apple raisin quiche, and pumpkin/raisin sweet bread. The coffee was full-bodied and flavorful. Free parking is conveniently located on site. I highly recommend staying at the Frederick House.”

“I hesitate to write this because I want to keep Blacksburg Bed & Breakfast to myself. It is an absolute hidden gem! Perfect for solo travelers, families, or large groups. Spacious houses - yes, houses - offer large, comfortable kitchens, living rooms, and multi-sized rooms. The food is excellent and made to order. At $9.95/person for homemade breakfast, with large portions, it is the best deal in town. Sherie, the cook, will deliver to your room! The GM is fantastic! He gave me a personal tour...

“The historical significance of this property is reason alone to visit. George Washington's great grandfather established a plantation there in 1642. While original buildings were burned, the owners have restored according to drawings and records. There's a cemetery on property with graves from 1600s. Attention to service was outstanding and personal.”
