In generale al'hotel darei buono l'unica cosa la spiaggia non è come la fotografia, ma è molto piccola nel pomeriggio non c'è il sole

Tranquillo, confortevole ed immerso nel verde
Abbiamo soggiornato in un appartamento da 146 mq con cucina, 3 camere da letto, 2 bagni, un soggiorno, patio esterno e posto auto. Il giardino interno è un pezzetto di foresta tropicale. Colazione più che soddisfacente. L'albergo è molto tranquillo, si sentono solo gli uccellini sulle palme. L'ideale per rilassarsi al rientro dalle escursioni. Alcune cose sono migliorabili, ad esempio la porta del patio non si poteva chiudere a chiave dall'esterno quindi bisognava ogni volta fare il giro dal retro per poterla chiudere. In ogni caso lo consiglio per l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

ottima sistemazione
ottimo hotel soprattutto per la varietà di sistemazioni..ideale per tutte le tasche. consiglio la mezza pensione... la cucina è molto buona e ogni sera viene proposto un menu tipico differente.

Bon séjour dans cet hôtel , Nous avons pris la chambre vue sur mer, chambre très confortable et grande ( douche intérieur baignoire et douche extérieur ), le nettoyage des chambres est fait tout les jours. Les repas étaient bon , notamment le petit dej qui était relativement complet. Personnel sympathique et serviable. Seuls points négatifs, pas de réelle animation le soir. Et L’emplacement est assez éloigné du centre.

L’hôtel a été rénové plus ou moins. Mais il manque pleins de choses. Pour manger quelque chose dans l’après midi on n’a rien à part des frites. Activité que l'hôtel propose c’est que le matin, et en réservant en plus. Je trouve sa dommage car on s’ennuie.

Das Hotel ist absolut in die Jahre gekommen. Die Ocean Villas am Meer sind neuer. Es gibt wenige unpraktische Liegen. Das Essen ist vielfältig und sehr gut. Schlimm ist, dass das Hotel sich als Partylocation verkauft. Riesen Partys mit sehr lauter Musik bis in die Nacht. Das geht nicht! Die Bilder sind alle alt. Der Strand vor den Ocean Villen ist nicht mehr da. Dafür ist der Ausblick toll. Die Gartenvillas und Poolvillas würde ich nicht wählen.

After reading the previous reviews about this hotel I wasn't expecting much. But actually, I was blown away by the hotel. We had a beautiful room that opened onto a small swimming pool that was shared with 5 or 6 other rooms. The garden areas are really well cared for. The hotel has its own but of private beach. The breakfast buffet was of a really high calibre. We are in the restaurant on two evenings, and the food was amazing. The hotel has its own boat service where they will take you out for snorkel trips, or water skiing. Twice a week they have a glass bottom boat. Would definitely recommend this hotel, and if I return to Mauritius, would stay there again.

Hôtel familial où on s’y sent bien. Le personnel est au top, aimable et attentionné. La petite plage privée est très agréable et le jardin juste magnifique. Grandes chambres restaurées récemment. Très satisfait de mon séjour.

Good value at a reasonable cost
Ocean Villas is a simple family budget hotel and, as such, provides good value for money. The initial welcome was a little cool, but the front desk got warmer, and a few issues we had with the room were solved well and fairly promptly. We were early and our room was not ready, but it was ready right at the official check-in time. The front desk was flexible and helpful with a late check out time. The complex has a tired feel to it and is in need of some TLC - a roof scrub and bit of whitewash on all the outside walls would help the external appeal greatly. Our room, billed as renovated/contemporary, was nice but a bit tired - quite spacious and with a good-sized bathroom. The hotel has natural, simple, well-kept gardens and it lies directly on a very pleasant small and quite private beach with great views of the Bay and with some water-based activities. We had the evening buffet several times, and they were all very good - reasonably wide choice, well cooked, varied and tasty. The breakfast buffet was also varied and decent. Our one a la carte evening was disappointing, the food mediocre and the service slow (no desserts delivered to anyone until the entire restaurant had finished the main course).The evening entertainment was not always to our taste, but it was nice to have it provided and the guests seemed to enjoy it. The piped music during the day was good (lots of well-known international songs, locally recorded and to a fine reggae rhythm.

The ocean is nice and the ladies in reception, one of them is named Jennifer, is exceptionally nice and makes you feel welcome. She was incredibly kind. Food was quite disappointing- ordered an omelette for breakfast and it had burned black bits in it from previous food cooked in the pan as they don’t clean their pans. Was kind of disgusting really. However the staff was friendly, but just felt like the hotel tried to find the worst quality produce to save on costs. The ocean villas are far better and more private than the other accommodation

Ett helt ok boende för några dagar, bra mat men lite trubadurer som underhållning på kvällarna. Inte jätte mysig buffé miljö men bra mat. Stranden var ok, sköna soffgrupper vid stranden. Barnen tyckte att poolen var ok. I det stora hela ett ok boende men inte mer än så, lite efter med underhållet så att säga.

personnel a l'ecoute et agreable, le barman Yan est super, lieu super calme parfait pour la detente, plusieurs piscine qui permet d'etre a l'aise, activités nautiques sur la plage de l'hotel. Café du petit dejeuner pas top, dommage de ne pas avoir des fruits exotiques au lieu des pommes et bananes, buffet entrees et plats un peu trop européen

The last thing you want to do when you arrive at a hotel is to fill in an on-line check-in, particularly when you are a foreigner who has no internet. It takes forever to accomplish. Much easier to hand over your passport for photocopying. Our room was nice and quiet with a lovely pool view. The bathroom spacious with a bath and a shower. Unfortunately, 2 days of our stay we were without hot water and had to use an inferior bathroom at the other end of the complex. Windows in our room needed a good cleaning. We took advantage of the glass-bottomed boat trip which we enjoyed. It was too windy to sit on the beach while we were there but we swam in the pool. Vegetarian food was great the first night with a good choice. The second night was a great disappointment. Very little was on offer. For about £24 it was a waste of money and that was without drinks. Despite notices warning of stray cats and dogs, people were still feeding them and the cats were a real problem begging at the tables in the restaurant. Very safe on-site parking.

Grand Baie, vind och restauranger.
Angående boendet så var det rena rum, men inte mycket mer. Det skulle behöva rustas upp, och personalen skulle behöva få leendet och intresset till service tillbaka. Gamla foton på Hotels.com hemsida som inte stämmer överens med hur det ser ut. Ex: poolen. Ett plus var frukost personalen, men restaurangen i övrigt var ett stort minus. Hotelet ligger förövrigt i öst, så var beredd på vind varje dag. Men det tar endast några minuter med lokal bussen till västkusten. Grand Baie har ett stort utbud utav bra restauranger.

At the Ocean Villas I had a wonderful 15-day vacation. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the TANUJA receptionist, who would like to thank you very much for their human and patient approach to the problem with check in. Throughout the stay, all staff were smiling, friendly and very helpful. And the food !!!! And that choice !!! Just super- definitely every guest will choose here. We stayed in a room overlooking the garden which was very well maintained, every day the hotel beach was cleaned of debris. The hotel offers free snorkelling trips, a glass-bottomed boat ride and jet skiing. Everyone chooses. If I could award 10 stars, I would. Thank you very much for ensuring that the hotel and the staff in it provided me with a wonderful holiday :-)

I stayed in one of the ocean view rooms and it was honestly worth every penny. The room was cleaned every day with tea and coffee replenished too. The food was delicious. A great variety and the seafood was to die for. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was my first ever solo trip and I’m glad it was here I went! They also offer complimentary boat trips with snorkelling if that’s your thing. I was made to feel very welcome and they soon remembered what my drink of choice was- not sure that’s a good thing hahah. I would love to come back but maybe with some company just so someone else can see how lovely it is ☺️

Situation devant la mer , petite plage privée vraiment très agréable, très bonne restauration surtout le petit déjeuner. Personnel pas toujours très disponible et cela est étonnant à l’île Maurice. Mais dans l’ensemble un séjour très agréable et à recommander soit en famille ou bien en couple.

nice hotel with good breakfast
A nice place with big family rooms and good service. The pool area and beach could be bigger/better if not some of it was used for some VIP rooms - and that was not good explained in deskription and pictures of the hotel. Good breakfast served. Very good food and show on New Years evening. All in all a very good experience

Es wird zu wenig auf Sauberkeit geachtet. Viele Vögel, die alles dreckig machen und zu wenige, die dies weg machen. Servicepersonal ist zwar freundlich, allerdings muss man sich selber kümmern, damit man Getränke bekommt.
