Hotel a Granton

“Beautiful grounds. The hotel has many rooms, which may be different. Mine was very basic decor and could have benefited from some paint touch ups, but was large, clean contained a fridge with freezer and microwave and was very well priced. Bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and staff were great. There is a restaurant on site although it wasn’t open for breakfast during my stay.”

“The outlet wasn’t working in our washroom. This was in a newly renovated room. No discount was offered for the inconvenience. ”

“Cleanliness could be better - floors were dirty and there were bits of other guests hairs in the shower. Bathroom mirror was wonderful, there’s really nowhere to put your stuff down in the bathroom so keep that in mind with hair tools etc. Staff was friendly, coffee station was a bonus! All in all, it was okay!”

“Thermostat wouldn’t turn heat down, even after shutting it off altogether. Windows had to be opened and it was raining. Not ideal”

Helpful front desk staff, comfortable rooms (although one of our queen beds was a little "tired"), delicious breakfast included in price (lots of variety of hot and cold options)...and, very close to the hospital for our needs, with ample parking. Will definitely be back. ”

“Quaint, clean property with easy parking, and cozy, wood-paneled dining room. We had dinner on the earlier side (drinks, salad, entrees all outstanding with great service to match) and took a scenic evening stroll by Thames Parkway. Ended the night with a movie on Netflix (included), and the next morning enjoyed a lovely brunch spread of fresh fruit, pastries, smoked salmon, bacon, eggs, and potatoes. Did not have time to try the spa services, so can't comment there, but maybe next time. Would...

“The room was clean. When we checked out the pool upon arrival, we were very disappointed to find it smelling ALOT like bleach. Therefore, did not use it. Also, it would have been nice to have a table in the room. ”
