First, the positive. The cabin was clean and was dry during a lot of rain. The location is on the water and close to Gravenhurst. We arrived at the cabin not having received an email with check in instructions. There is no office there. Thankfully the cleaning lady let us in. We had called the host twice and messaged on VRBO inbox twice. It wasn’t until I texted him that he responded. I had asked prior to going if there was a coffee maker and was told no, yet there was one and I hadn’t brought any coffee with me. There were 2 small towels, no dish towels and very little storage space. The listing says air conditioning but there was an overhead fan and a table fan. The sofa and chair in the unit are the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever sat on. They are new but they are at a 90 degree angle. The property is very run down with a broken dock. There was one plastic chair to sit on and a wooden bench. We didn’t know there was a fire pit. Overall, this is not worth the price we paid. We left all day when it was raining because it was not a comfortable place to be. The communication was also lacking which made it worse.
