Hotel a Great Bend

“The pool was great! The hot tub was hot needed more jets but it felt great after long drive. Property wS nicely decorated.”

“There is no elevator so we had to have a room on the first floor. I understand that the first night was booked but we got a room it was small. I asked the next day to be accommodated to a bigger room which she assured me she wld discuss w the manager and contact me. Never heard from them. Never in our 3 day stay did we get any kind of cleaning. I had to get towels and put our trash out. Do better for 96$ a night.”

“Before the fire a few years ago, and I am assuming new ownership, this hotel used to be a really nice place to stay! Now it's half the original price more, no more coffee pots in room and no more breakfasts. After checking in, I was informed that they do not supply drain stoppers (for bathtub), as too many people have overflowed the tubs. Upon prodding, the front desk person finally brought me a drain stopper, but it didn't work in this particular tub. The refrigerator had seen better days and...

“Although the room & bathroom were clean, when we entered the room upon arrival, a very unpleasant sewage odor was present. This odor was corrected by an air freshner my husband found in the exercise room. The curtains need to be replaced as the backing was deteriorating allowing streetlight & am sunlight to filter through. The beds were very comfortable; the linen & towels were adequate. The staff was very cordial & parking was adequate. The breakfast offered was limited.”

“Rooms are so tiny. The toilet was 4 ft from our bed. The sink wasn’t in the bathroom. The bed and pillows were hard as a rock. Barely enough room to walk around the bed. The staff had a toddler who kept screaming and you could hear him upstairs in the room. The shower was so short we had to bend over to wash our hair. Air conditioner barely kept up in the room and the hallways were very muggy and hot. We stayed less than 4hrs before deciding to just take the loss (since no refunds or prorating)...

“We liked everything about this stay, everything worked and was clean, conveniently located handicap accessible. The only issue was the breakfast no eggs, bacon or sausage, just a low budget breakfast.”

“Property neat, well organized, everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent. Great biscuits and sausage biscuits. Well arranged tables snd places yo eat. This is our third time staying here about 7 years. Stop here when ever we are needing a night stay on Kansas.”
