Highly recommended
Me and my boyfriend stayed at Agia Irini between the end of August and early September. The location is very nice. Outside in front of the sea there is a very clean and quiet pool, with comfortable loungers and umbrellas, great for relaxing during the day. Our room had a great view of the pool and the sea, very clean and pretty. In addition, the hotel is in a perfect position to easily move around the island with a vehicle (we used a scooter), in the middle between Fira (max 10 min) and Oia (max 15 min). The hotel is run by a very friendly and kind family, the owner Vaggellis was immediately very helpful he helped us with the rent of the vehicle, in booking a tour of the island with a boat, he advised us on the best places to visit and where to eat, also booking for us. It was a beautiful holiday and a perfect stay, we will come back for sure!

Hotel a gestione familiare, persone disponibili e accoglienti. Su richiesta siamo stati accompagnati e riportati in aereoporto gratuitamente. Le camere vengono rassettate ogni giorno e ogni due cambio di lenzuola e di asciugamani. E' possibile usufruire anche di abbondante colazione con un piccolo costo aggiuntivo (inferiore rispetto ai prezzi di altri ristoranti). E' possibile fare arrivare pranzo o cena presso l'hotel chiedendo ai gestori di poter scegliere tra due menu take-away (uno con cucina italiana, l'altro con cucina tipica greca). C'è una piscina ben attrezzata cui è possibile accedere in ogni momento della giornata. Location fuori dalle città principali con ottima vista sul mare e molto tranquilla alla sera. In ogni caso in pochi chilometri è possibile raggiungere le vicine città. Con grande sorpresa abbiamo ricevuto gratuitamente un servizio di tour organizer che ci ha ragguagliato in metrito ai migliori luoghi da visitare e in cui mangiare. Siamo molto soddisfatti e lo consigliamo.

We spent 3 nights at Agia Irini hotel and it was really pleasant. Vaggelis and his parents are very kind and welcoming, they explain you everything about the island and also suggested a nice tabern, Aidani.The swimming pool and the view on the sea are beautiful and far from the rowdy crowd of tourists of Santorini.

Our staying was amazing!
Our staying here has been truly amazing! The whole staff is lovely! Kind, willing, available and friendly. The position is a bit out of the main cities and centres but in 10/15 minutes by scooter you get almost everywhere in the island and it's nice to go back to a quiet place far from the busier towns Thira and Oia. The rooms are simple and minimal but clean and comfortable. The view of the pool and the sea is beautiful and relaxing. The pool is new, always clean and comfortable. Breakfast is nice and the staff is keen to serve it in the room or at the pool. A plus: they have the best tourist guide of the island! In fact Milan will tell you about all the places that you can't miss during your stay in Santorini. Definitely the best choice possible for tourist that are looking for a real and local journey. If we'll be back in the island we sure will come back at Agia Irini! Lots of love from Alessandra and Marco

Hotel confortevole, in posizione ottimale per visitare l'intera isola. Navetta da e per aeroporto. Colazione da migliorare. Consigliato!

Beautiful property in a fairly remote location but the towns are still easily accessible by transport. The host and staff were amazing. Nothing is too much! Great communication and Airport transfer was arranged before my holiday, greeted with a smile, a drink and excellent customer service. Filled with lots of knowledge about the area and best places to visit. Room was a nice size with all amenities and over looked the pool, such a gorgeous view! The room was cleaned everyday and spotless. Breakfast options are plenty and delicious. The host gave us so many recommendations and helped organise our trips and transport. Can’t thank him enough for a fabulous, comfortable stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Santorini, stay here!!!

Vaggelis is an absolute superstar, he was very friendly and helpful. He gave us fantastic recommendations for visiting sites, and he also assisted us with renting a car and booking a trip on the catamarans in no time. The room is small, and so is the bathroom, but it was clean. The breakfast was below par in comparison to the other hotels that we visited on the trip. The bed was not the most comfortable, as I am 1.87m, and the wooden base at the end of the bed hurt when one's feet hung over. I would still recommend them as they offer good value for money.

We had a wonderful 4 day-stay at Agia Iniri from 15-19 Sep 2022. The accommodation is lovely and the environment is serene and with a beautiful view of sunrise from our room balcony (unblocked view!). Nice pool & spacious parking space unlike places at Oia or Fira. The owner Mr Vaggelis is simply the most hospitable host you should get to meet during your stay. We were a little clueless with what we can do and see at Santorini and Mr Vaggelis was so helpful to plan the itineraries for each day of our stay. On our second last day of the stay, we were supposed to go on a volcano island cruise & the weather that morning was so bad that the boat trip had to be cancelled. He had saved our holiday by communicating with the tour agency to rebook another trip for the next day. So instead of cancelling the trip & got our refund, we managed to board the boat the next day & we had a very enjoyable cruise of the volcano and the surrounding island. Thanks Mr Vaggelis!

L'endroit, à l'écart de l'agitation de Fira et Oia, est très reposant. De par ses conseils, Vaggelis a rendu notre séjour encore plus remarquable (visites, idées restos, conseils pratiques,...). La piscine, tout comme le petit-déjeuner, permettent de réellement prendre le temps et profiter du cadre. C'est une belle adresse que je recommande.

Vaggelis and his family are the very best of hosts; so warm, friendly and helpful in offering recommendations on where to visit in their beloved Santorini. The breakfast they offered was lovely and it was so peaceful enjoying it on our balcony in front of the incredible sea view; the homemade pies and pastries were delicious. The location is stunning and I haven't felt as relaxed as I did by the side of that pool in quite a long time. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily and air conditioned which is very handy. The shower is pretty small so the bathroom can get a bit drowned but dries quickly and is still powerful. Would love to go and stay again!! You would likely need a car as it's quite remote and would need to get out and about to explore - everything very accessible.

Séjour Fantastique
Nous avons passé un séjour Fantastique en amoureux dans cet hôtel familial. Notre chambre était d'une propreté irréprochable, le ménage était fait tous les jours, le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux, (les gâteaux de la maman du propriétaire, un vrai délice !) Nous avons également bien profité de la piscine. Coin calme et éloigné du centre. Possibilité de louer un quad via l'hôtel. A notre arrivée, petit verre de bienvenu, et le propriétaire, Vaggelis, très sympathique et accueillant nous a préparé un programme des villes à visiter, des meilleurs endroits pour admirer le coucher de soleil, des randonnées à faire, des restaurants...Tout était parfait !

Peaceful retreat from the crowds
Really nice family run venue with beautiful sheltered pool area and sea views. The rooms were nice with your own balcony area. Vagellis could not be more helpful whether organizing transport or recommending key spots to visit. The location is a little out of the way but no issue as long as you hire a car or bike. It's only 10 minutes away from the major towns. If you want to be in the thick of things and be able to walk to restaurants and bars then stay in Fira or Oia but if you want to explore the island the Agia Irini is a great base and a peaceful, good value retreat from the masses. We included breakfast which was really good and plentiful and had lunch and dinner out while looking around. However you can have food delivered if you want to settle by the pool.

The place was peaceful and very clean. Staff especially the owner were extremely helpful and made sure our stay was enjoyable. The tour guide Milan was an excellent addition to the package as he was always available to give us a ride whenever we wanted whilst also keeping us informed of the local history. We were truly refreshed after our stay and would certainly stay there again.

En a passé 5 jours formidables dans ce endroit tranquille et accueillant, je vais retourné sûrement un jour. L unique problème c’était la communication car personne parle français ou italien. Propriétaires iper gentille et sympa, merci pour tout !!!

Huge thanks to Vaggelis and his lovely parents and family for a wonderful two week holiday at the fabulous Agia Irini. Vaggelis speaks great English which made communication far easier and he really couldn’t do enough for us... thanking you Vaggelis🙏 Agia Irini is in a fabulously quiet and relaxing location, an immaculately run complex with beautiful pool area. Our hosts were a very welcoming and friendly family who went the extra mile to make our stay just perfect, for that we are most grateful. Many thanks also to the wonderfully energetic Milan, who provided us with a really helpful bespoke itinerary should we wish to use it including restaurants, beaches and also local history recommendations. Milan also provided us with great nutritional and health and well being tips where requested, which again we are very grateful🙏 We would love to return very soon and have no hesitation in recommending this to our family and friends or indeed anyone!

Staff were amazing, they went above and beyond our expectations after we arrived late with taking time to give us maps, organise dinner deliveries and helped organise a hire car. Our experience was like staying with family rather than the average hotel, which was wonderful. Our room was nice, clean and modern. The room had a great patio with views also.

Relaxing Honeymoon Stay
This was a stay on the beautiful island of Santorini and we loved every minute! Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts (Vaggelis and Milan were particularly kind and gave lots of hints and tips on exploring the island). The hotel is in a quiet area away from all the tourist crowds but in an ideal spot to reach the rest of the island(I would recommend hiring a car). The pool area is lovely, well-equipped and clean. The optional breakfast was a good price and you could sit out on your terrace and eat it. On request we had a view of the pool/sea which was perfect. The room was well-equipped including extra pillows and a fridge. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to the island!
