Struttura a 10 minuti a piedi da fira
L’albergo a mio parere è ben lontano dal rispecchiare i canoni 3 stelle. Sembra ancora in costruzione ed è molto spoglio. D’altro canto la posizione è piuttosto comoda, c’è un parcheggio per mettere la macchina (ho visto alberghi carini a Fira anche + centrali ma stavano senza parcheggio). La stanza aveva letto (matrimoniale mini) bagno aria condizionata 2 comodini un armadio e un mobile specchio le condizioni sembravano abbastanza usate e davano come l’impressione di essere stati messi un po’ a caso. Il bar dell’alberg Non ha praticamente nulla, chiedono 5 euro per la colazione ma conviene farla fuori perché non offrono nulla di chè.. che dire, forse lo risceglierei solo per la comodità del parcheggio e il prezzo ma NON chiamatela struttura a 3 stelle.

abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per una settimana e noi tutti, cinque amici, l' abbiamo trovato confortevole e in una buona posizione. Fira dista 10 minuti a piedi percorrendo le caratteristiche vie del centro e la struttura offre un ampio parcheggio per auto o moto, indispensabili per una vacanza a Santorini. Panos, il gestore, è una persona gentile e disponibile. le stanze sono ampie e offrono un' ottima vista.

E' STATO NECESSARIO PRENDERE A NOLEGGIO UNA MACCHINA IN QUANTO STRUTTURA DECENTRATA RISPETTO ALLE SPIAGGE E AL CENTRO CITTADINO.PER IL RESTO TUTTO BENE.

Ho passato 7 notti di luglio all'hotel blue horizon. Nonostante non vi sia reception al nostro arrivo il ragazzo al bar ha provveduto al check-in e ci ha consegnato la camera. La stanza aveva le cose strettamente essenziali, eravamo 5 quindi gli spazi erano limitati ma i letti erano comodi. Come note positive segnalo un terrazzino comodo e un frigorifero grande nel quale potevamo tenere le cose per la colazione. La nota estremamente negativa è per il bagno: sporco, vecchio, dal tombino usciva schiuma mentre facevamo la doccia, lo specchio e la doccia erano totalmente macchiati e la pulizia che veniva effettuata era molto sommaria. in conclusione consiglio l'hotel a giovani, magari in gruppo che passano poco tempo in hotel e sappiano adattarsi, la zona è comoda, vicinissima al centro di thira, il benessere invece lascia il tempo che trova....

L'Hotel è ben tenuto, le stanze ed i bagni sono molto spaziose ed accessoriate. Balconi ampi e con bella vista. Lascia solo un po a desiderare la pulizia dei bagni. Gli impianti sono all'avanguardia, ovvero con la chiave elettronica disinserita quando si esce si disattiva la corrente elettrica, il condizionatore funziona solo se le finestre sono chiuse tramite dei sensori, etc. Il proprietario è un ragazzo molto gentile, non c'è l'insegna ne la reception. La posizione dell'Hotel è un po scomoda in quanto è posizionata infondo ad una strada molto ripida, anche se conviene sempre per il buon rapporto con il prezzo. Ma Fare molta attenzione al pagamento con carta di credito al momento della prenotazione dal sito perchè all'Hotel non viene accreditato l'importo on line ma viene poi richiesto all'arrivo, controllare che non ci sia il doppio addebito. Complessivamente Buono!

Péssimo
Péssimo hotel. Philip é o único responsável pela recepção, que muitas vezes está fechado. Na nossa reserva era um quarto com varanda. Ele nos colocou num cubículo nos fundos do hotel e prometeu mudar pra um maior no outro dia. Mudou, realmente, pra outro quarto horrível nos fundos do hotel. Pra chegar no hotel tem uma ladeira ingrime. Enfim, não recomendo. Existem outros hotéis melhores em Fira.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed
I arrived at 8am but Philip kindly allowed me to enter the room. He also offered me a free late check out because of my ferry schedule. Probably it depends on the room availability but he always makes efforts how you feel comfortable during your stay. The room is spacious having a lovely balcony with a table and chairs facing the sea. The room has a refrigerator and a safety box. Only one unfortunate thing is the location. It is not far from the city centre (only a 15-minute walk from the central bus station) but I felt scary when I was walking from the centre to the hotel in the dark. However it is not the hotel's fault and there is no problem if you stay with friends or family. Fira Blue Horizon was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed.

In the heart of Santorini at the best price
I decided to share my experience, because it is very different from most reviews I read. I really enjoyed my stay at Blue Horizon. I loved the style of the rooms and the traditional balcony. I had the room on the last floor, so probably had the best view, partially of the sea and partially of the traditional houses climbing up the cliff. The room was very spacious and clean, serviced every day . The staff was very friendly, everyone was smiling and greeting. The guy at the reception (Phillip I think) was very helpful. The hotel has a big parking, which is very good as most of people like renting bikes to go to the beaches. Otherwise parking is a problem in Fira. To go to the main restaurants took me usually arpund 10 minutes (not 20 like many people say, probably depends where you go). In my opinion, although the hotel is not located exactly where the most popular places are, it is well compensated by the price we paid. The hotels on the top are very expensive. The hotel will be the best choice for those who don't mind to walk and is looking to travel around the island, staying at the heart of Santorini. I'm also happy to share some pictures)))

Un cauchemar! A fuir au plus vite!
Quelle déception...Cet hôtel éloigné du centre de Fira ne mérite pas son nom. En effet, les travaux ne sont pas terminés et laissent des fils électriques pendre dans la chambre et dans la salle bain! La télévision cathodique de moins de 15 pouces n'a jamais fonctionné! La literie nous a meurtri le dos(ressorts) et donc sommeil de très mauvaise qualité. Les prestations réservées (petits-déjeuners)n'ont jamais été honorées! Il a fallu prendre ceux-ci en ville. Pas d'eau chaude pendant 2 jours. J'ai demandé à rencontrer le Directeur de l'Hôtel en vain!(pas de réception). C'est la première fois en 20 ans de voyages que je rencontre des désagréments à répétition... Un cauchemar...vous dis-je!!!

Dirty, reception didn't care. We arrived and had to wait for someone to show up 10 min later. They informed us that it costs 7 euro to use AC... the breakfast, which you have to make yourself was a toast and coffee for 8 euro. This place is a joke!

The description of the room stated that air conditioning was included, we had to pay on the spot 7 euros a night extra to have the air conditioning control to activate the a/c. No where on the page when booking did it specify a/c was extra per night. the room was bare and not hospitable at all. the shower had no curtain and gas lines exposed throughout the room. The only positive was that the wifi was good. I would only recommend this place if its just to leave your luggage bag that's about it,

Okay location
This hotel is about 15-20 minute walk uphill towards the main city area of Fira. If you want a clean hotel that you won't spend muc time in then this is it. There is a $7 charge for AC per night. We were not in the hotel much so it didn't matter. The room furniture is old so don't expect anything fancy. It is clean but the bathroom is older. It was all we needed for our stay because we didn't spend any time in the hotel.

Terrible Hotel
The hotel was double booked. They offered us a small windowless room with no A / C and electricity. We refused. After that, they offered us another mold smelling room from an adjacent creepy house that was not a hotel. We also refused to do so. They also offered another hotel 12 km away. The staff was very lazy and unskilled. Eventually we surrendered and looked for another hotel, which was difficult because the hotels were quite full. One holiday day went completely wasted. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! Stay away!

This may be a nice hotel once all construction is finished. Potential hazards that may cause an accidents, e.g,. expecting clients to use temporary steps and wood planks to carry the luggage to the rooms. It is also rather far from the Fira centre to walk uphill.

The area is great with nice views. Close enough to walk to town. Check-in was easy and he walked me through all the aspects of the room. Since there is no air conditioning (7€/ day extra) and it is cool at night, so it's not needed, it makes for a dusty room all the time since you keep all the windows open. Also it has the typical European bed, thin and hard. Once you find away around that, it's great.

Very nice room,but it was out of the way as the town of Fira is concerned You needed transportation inorder to get to town, 20 minute walk all up hill, not a good spot for seniors. Patio service was expensive ,so avoid anything but the beer,

Would not stay for free
The experience was so bad we checked out early and moved to a different hotel. Here is a list why: 1. Dishonest employees- maid stole our jackets and did not notify anyone 2. Rooms are dusty and dirty, we had to clean furniture and floors ourselves 3. Bed is squeaky and Mattress is flat and hard- you might as well sleep on the floor 4. Windows have no screens, you will get bug bites 5. Pillows are flat and old, you won’t even notice they’re there 6. Not close to downtown Fira even though listed as a Fira hotel, expect a 25 min UP HILL hike 7. Breakfast is not free and is not worth the $ anyway 8. TV is broken 9. Wifi does not work inside rooms 10. You can hear your neighbors above and below you. You can imagine what we had to listen to. 11. Shower only has curtain, no doors, expect to flood the bathroom floors every time you shower 12. Exposed wires and tubes from walls inside hotel room

Fantastic choice for budget
Our booking was transferred from another property to Fira Blue Horizon therefore we don't really know what to expect. But the young lad at the front desk is extremely friendly and helpful. As long as you ask, he would get out of his way to assist. The location is not the most accessible but with about 10 minutes walk to Fira town centre, not really something we would complain. There are plenty of convenience shops and restaurants. The bed is not the most comfortable, and be aware of mosquitoes during summer.

Hotel is okay but not the cleanest. Feels incomfortable to stay in but ok for location and price. Besides, so much potential is given to that hotel: design is great, location very good. Only service can be better and the 3* will definitely be worth it.

Prix élevé pour le type de chambre : vétuste ms propre. Ok pr une nuit.(Chambre quadruple ds la partie non rénovée). En revanche tres bon accueil du manager : nous avons pu laisser nos bagages avt notre vol retour de nuit tte la journee et prendre une douche le soir avant de repartir : tres appréciable!

L'hôtel est un peu excentré mais le centre de Fira, comme la station de bus, se rejoint très facilement à pied et au moins, on est au calme. Notre petite terrasse avait vue sur la mer et franchement, le rapport qualité-prix pour Santorin au mois de juillet, en comparaison des autres hôtels, était vraiment intéressant. La chambre triple était équipée d'un frigo. Endroit et patron sympathiques.

We went at the begging of tourist season and they were not ready for us. Our rooms were not clean when we arrived, dirty sheets and pillow cases, mud in the shower, and not enough beds in our room. They brought the other beds but the other aspects were not cleaned while we there (three days and 2 nights). Wifi was inaccessible in the rooms at the hotel but worked as well as any hotel in Greece when up by the bar/breakfast room. The individual who checked us in did not speak English, making check in a bit difficult. She also became very flustered when we and a few other groups all arrived at the same time to check in, however the manager spoke English well and was able to address some of our concerns later on. The hotel was very nice and on our last day allowed us a space to store our bags as our ferry did not leave until 4:30 and check out was at 12:00. The hotel was a bargain hotel which worked out fine for a few college students on Spring break for a study abroad program, I would not recommend the hotel for families or couples looking to vacation on Santorini, there are nicer options.

Lovely but very over worked staff
The hotel was alright but looked like it needed some tlc e.g broken mirror, dodgy lock, bad aircon. We got transfer to another hotel for our last night which we didn't mind at all and had the same owner but the lady who ran this place (called sandy resort perivolos) was so unfriendly and intimidating (you just have to look at reviews of that place to get a feel for it, I don't advice accepting the a transfer there). The deal was that if we transferred, we'd get a lift to the port for our 3.20am ferry from the owner but he failed to meet us when he said he would leaving us stranded in the middle of the night until 15 minutes before the ferry when he finally appeared. He drove us there in his car which had no seatbelts and the driving was terrifying. It was an awful experience. The only good thing about Fira Blue is the lovely and helpful man who works there.

The worst ever.
After arriving in the city later than I has expected, I found the hotel dark and closed. Went to a local convenience store, they called, sent a TWELVE YEAR OLD BOY AS "RECEPTION", hotel said they hadn't booked me because my card was declined (lie). Stayed elsewhere.

beautiful staff
Extremely clean, and confortable. The staff were amazing they couldn't do enough for us.They completely made our holiday for us. For the price that we paid it was excellent value for money. We loved loved loved it.... Only downside was no pool, if they had a pool if would have been perfect.

Fira Blue Horizon Hotel was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I was led to believe that the hotel was a 5-10 min. walk from town center, when actually it was 25-30 min. An unpleasant surprise with a heavy backpack and no money to afford taxis. Also, the long walk to the hotel is down a steep, high traffic road with no sidewalks, very dangerous to walk during the day, deadly at night. Worse, when I got there, the shifty manager led me not to a room in the hotel building, but instead led me through the parking lot to a cement hovel in the back, and informed me that this shack would be my hotel room. The shack was separate from the hotel building, behind the parking lot, and next to a chicken coop! As I reluctantly unpacked in my shack, workers began pouring cement outside my door, and doing noisy electrical work outside my window! I approached the manager to tell him I was unhappy and preferred to be in the main building, and he said it was full and that the shack was the only "room" available. It was a miserable night in my isolated cement box, the chickens crowing and keeping me awake all night. The next day, I found a real hotel in the town of Imerovigli. Each day I went back to Fira Blue Horizon Hotel to get my money back, but the manager was never there. Fira Blue Horizon treated me badly and dishonestly, and took advantage and compromised my safety by putting me in that isolated shack in the parking lot. It was a bad experience and I do NOT recommend this hotel.
