As far as your comments are concerned: please know that charge for 2 sun beds and an umbrella is not the service one gets in Poseidon of Paros, since we care for you and we offer, beach towels, complimentary mineral water, a solar charger for charging your phone or camera, a safe box with a magnetic lock, installed so that you can enjoy the sand and the sea with no stress on your personal items and a great service since we serve the finest cocktails and snacks on Golden beach. Also please know that all other umbrellas and sun beds surrounding both bars of our property, are offered to hotel guests only & on a complimentary basis. As far as the payment with American Express, please know that we had a pending issue with our bank & it is now fixed. We do apologize for the inconvenience. Finally we want you to know that, we literally care and coordinate all things towards our guests' satisfaction and to creating an unforgettable relaxing summer experience in Poseidon of Paros. pieno di zanzare, vacanza rovinata
Purtroppo pieno di zanzare, non ce lo aspettavamo proprio anche perché i sistemi per liberarsene sono più di uno a partire dai trattamenti. Le camere sono pulite e confortevoli anche se il materasso più di tipo invernale che estivo non è propriamente adatto. La posizione è buona vicino a spiagge come Golden Beach e Farangas.

This hotel is beautiful and in excellent condition. The nearby beach is an excellent thing. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant is nice as there’s nothing very close by, although somewhat near a bus stop. We greatly appreciated how nice all of the staff was and were amazed by the housekeeping and nightly “turn down” service. The shuttle from the port to the hotel was a great experience (additional cost). The hotel even helped us get a rental car and it was delivered to the hotel! We were able to return it to the port as we were taking a ferry when departing the island. Beautiful hotel in an upcoming area of the island and right next to one of the best beaches on the island.

Regarding the A/C please note that if one or more of your windows were left open and since we have certain procedures within our sustainability measures that consider the environment, the A/C automatically turns off and probably was the reason it was deactivated.Regarding nature intruding in your room, there quite a number of actions we can take, but under the conditions that we are aware of your discomfortIt’s actually a pity that you left the premises without the satisfaction expected since it’s on the top of the list of our hospitality values, that our guest’s experience is our priority & all of the above would have been avoided if only we were informed on the spot regarding & we were actually given the opportunity to offer a solution, so yes we feel quite 'out of options, in terms of offering all that we can.To conclude, all issues, can & should be addressed on the spot. Expensive and out of the way
The hotel was beautiful. However, it was far away from everything. You definitely need a car to stay there. The restaurant on the property was SUPER expensive. We ate lunch there once, and then we just found other places to drive to due to the cost. In addition, you could not bring any drinks from your room to the pool. You had to buy their outrageously priced drinks. Also, the staff was not friendly in comparison to other hotels we’ve stayed at on the Greek Islands. We wished we had stayed elsewhere.

We are more than happy that you found our hotel "beautiful". On the other hand, we are quite apologetic & skeptical that we did not meet your expectations. When you made the reservation, you were clearly informed that the hotel is located on the beach as well as all distances from the other villages/points of interest are well explained. Just to be fair, we would like to inform you that within walking distance our guests can find two beach bars/restaurants, a traditional tavern, a mini market & definitely not nothing.However, if someone wants to visit other parts of the island, we provide private transfers. Alternatively, yes, one can also rent a car, which is recommended for all Cycladic islands when one is eager to explore & experience more. Our restaurant offers lunch/dinner with similar standards as the rest of the property & its status reflects quite reasonable prices, especially when compared with other 5-star properties on the island, which you could find in your room's folder. Therefore, we understand it was your personal choice where to have lunch & where not to.Concerning the comment, that you cannot bring drinks from your room to the pool, kindly be informed that it is not allowed by law. Last, but not least, we are more than saddened to hear that our personnel was not friendly. That's strange and obviously subjective, because all previous reviews and more than 80% of our guests in total characterize our personnel as "beyond friendly", "superb", and "incredibly helpful", to name a few. So yes feel quite 'not fairly judged', since our team, is, was & will always be thrilling to our guests.Above all, we strongly believe that similar observations can be solved on the spot. It would have been appreciated, if your comments were communicated instantly so that the hotel can have the opportunity to explain, and act accordingly, therefore that readers can evaluate both the review, as well as the management response/action.We hope to have the chance to accommodate you in the future and reevaluate our services. From the moment we approached the front gates i knew we had chosen well. We arrived late and the staff greeted us like we were family and escorted our friends and us to our rooms which were incredibly comfortable. When we woke up the next morning and could really appreciate the location of the resort overlooking the sea and everything about the design of the buildings, landscaping and amenities it was even better than what had been depicted on the website. I fell in love with Paros and hope to come back someday to stay again at this resort, The staff was beyond friendly and the resident cats became our friends. To know they were loved and cared for by the staff was wonderful. I simply cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

Das Hotel hat eine wunderschöne Lage direkt am Meer und einem langen, weissen Sandstrand. Wirklich ein Traum. Es gibt überall ausreichend Liegen mit einem tollen Blick aufs Meer. Der Steg vor dem Hotel macht Laune und ist eine tolle Sache. Der Garten und die Anlage sowie das Hotel sind super gepflegt und sauber. Der Frühstücksraum ist mit Liebe eingerichtet & hat ein leckeres Angebot an Speisen. Vom Restaurant aus hat man ebenfalls einen phantastischen Blick auf das schöne Meer.

The Poseidon property was awesome! We had an upstairs suite that was much bigger than expected with multiple balconies to give different views of the surrounding property. Stunning ocean view and convenient to all areas of the property. Staff was great and we felt like the whole experience over-delivered on our expectations.

Je recommande cet hôtel (mais qui n'est pas sans défaut). Nous avons aimé le site de l'hôtel qui est situé sur une pointe dans la mer. Le quai flottant pour accéder à la mer est très agréable, nous y allions plusieurs fois par jour. Le petit-déjeuner est très bien. Toutefois, l'hôtel n'est pas sans défaut. Nous avions réserver notre séjour de 8 jours trois mois d'avance. À notre arrivée, le personnel nous a dirigé vers un second site de l'autre côté de la route où ce qui semble être d'anciens studios pour location sont plus ou moins aménagés en chambre d'hôtel. Dans ces unités, quelque soit le critère utilisé, nous étions fort loin d'un séjour hôtelier 5 étoiles, je dirais plutôt trois. Nous avons du protester et argumenter solidement pour obtenir d'être déménager le lendemain dans une chambre du type de celles que nous avions réservée. Les clients ne devraient pas avoir à se "battre" pour obtenir ce qu'ils ont loué et ce pour quoi ils paient. Enfin, l'utilisation des toilettes de l'hôtel requiert un poubelle pour TOUS les papiers. Oui. Comme autrefois en Grèce. Ça aussi ça ne fait pas très cinq étoiles. Si vous obtenez une vrai chambre dans l'hôtel et que le problème mentionné ne vous dérange pas, vous aurez un très agréable séjour au Poseidon.

Beautiful hotel, very high end and the staff was very friendly! Lots of cute cats/kittens roaming the property, we even let one come inside our room! The included breakfast was a massive buffet with all sorts of great foods. Only downside is that there is not much to eat around the hotel... if you have a car you are fine but if you don't, you will likely only have the hotel as a dinner option which was delicious but expensive. Great stat overall, I would definitely stay again.

Paradise in Paros
Our stay at the Poseidon of Paros was amazing. The location was perfect with spectacular views of the sea and sunset from our balcony. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and maintained. A delicious breakfast buffet was included that had many food options to choose from.

Hotel is gorgeous. Rooms very clean and spacious. Staff very friendly and with amazing service. Pool/bar area very nice and the beach just a short 5 min walk is beautiful. Lounge beds with umbrellas at the beach the hotel rents for 15 euros and they have a wait staff down there to take orders.

Great location. noussa really close was excellent for dining options and shopping. Beach basically on site. €15 for two lounge chairs and an umbrella. I like the Massage on the beach better than the one on the property. And it was cheaper.. Overall, highly recommend. The included breakfast was fantastic

The property is to far from town and restaurants. No night life very boring, it was to relaxing you had to drive 25 minutes to go to restaurants and shopping

Within walking distance our guests can find two beach bar/restaurants and a traditional tavern, however if someone wants to visit other parts of the island, we can provide private transfers. Alternatively, Drios and Piso Livadi villages are only 5-10 minutes drive from the hotel, offering a variety of restaurants and bars. I can not say enough amazing things about this hotel- (no it should be called a RESORT), the staff, and the location! 10/10 on every level. The views are UNMATCHED! However, what stood out the most is the amazing staff!! From the front desk to house keeping, just wow! Stellar service! I have already told friends planning a trip to Paros, that Poseidon is the PLACE TO STAY! ευχαριστώ!!!!

Gute Lage - jedoch ein Auto ist ein MUSS!
War alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Nur schade, dass man die Liegestühle am Strand extra bezahlen muss. Beim Swimming-Pool sind sie unentgeltlich. Auch wenn der TV während den Ferien auch mal Pause haben sollte, haben wir die vielen deutschen Channel genossen :-). Unser Zimmer (214) war gross, jedoch die Ablage für die Kleider etwas spärlich.

Greek luxury
A beautiful hotel with great amenities and staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The area directly surrounding is a little quiet and therefore eating out for dinner a little tricky if you are looking for that sort of thing. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. The restaurant is delicious offering a modern style Greek food with veggie and vegan options. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Would be great if they got rid of plastic straws and charge for sunbeds on the beach, but otherwise perfect.

This hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful. The property is a bit removed from a town, but there is a nice walking path along the beach, and we found a cute little restaurant walking distance from the hotel that was delicious and right on the waterfront. The only negatives to this hotel, were the bed, and linens were not very comfortable. They were stiff, and the pillows were the same. The restaurant on the property was delicious, but a bit pricey for the quantity of food. Other than this, everything was great!
