“Walking in to the hotel was beautiful but it’s so hard to get a parking space , it’s all been redecorated so went up to our room which was room 6 and it’s very dark so we had to put the lights on in the afternoon, lots of clattering and banging going on so went to reception and spoke to them and they said it was the bins getting taken out I just was checking that it wasn’t going to be like that all night , there is a middle door which was being used and it just banged shut , through the night...

“Hotel bello, in stile retrò/marino. Posizione magnifica vicino alla spiaggia di Ayr. La nostra camera (4persone) era divisa in due stanze ricavate in un cortile di servizio. Stanza principale confortevole ma un po’ umida, l’altra fredda e con un divano letto non troppo comodo. ”

Colazione molto buona anche se poca la scelta della parte dolce ma giustamente in queste zone prediligono la parte salata. Lo consiglierei. ”

“La struttura situata in una splendida tenuta di campagna immersa nei boschi, peccato che durante gli 8 giorni di soggiorno, nonostante le ripetute richieste, le pulizie e il cambio biancheria sia stato effettuato la mattina dell' ultimo giorno, assolutamente inutile. I receptionist sembrava sempre si trovassero lì per caso, non sapevano risolvere i problemi. Peccato!!!!”

“No light on in hotel on arrival, front door locked, rang bell no answer, phoned hotel straight to answer machine, read note hanging off the front door deliveries to side of building, side door open nobody around went through several doors shouting hello but nobody answered went through private door and got someone who got the key for room. 83 year old lady had to then walk up four flights stairs room in the attic was family room. “Room was in excellent condition.”

“Room had mould around windows and bathroom shower screen. Shower head not cleaned as very rusted. Toilet was very loose and grime around where it’s had previous silicon around it. Heavy dust on shelves as well as spider webs around windows. Hairs on bed. Not ours and got a hair in my breakfast pancakes. Again not mine as it was pulled back into a bun. Reported to staff. Was assured someone would contact me. They never did. The wedding I was attending was good apart from spelling the newly wedded...

“Hotel tutto sommato carino , personale decisamente poco cortese ho dormito malissimo a causa del rumore delle finestre per via del vento.. la doccia era praticamente senza acqua con uno strano sistema di gestione elettrico che rendeva l’acqua o bollente o ghiacciata la colazione molto triste .. poco personale e decisamente una scelta molto contenuta ”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Apartment had all we needed. It was really spacious and beds were extremely comfortable. Showers were fantastic. Security was second to none as Donald Trump was staying next door the weekend we stayed! Was fun to watch his motorcade go by the end of the road. Even had drones flying over and reporters doing live broadcasts on the lawn on the front of the development. Will definitely be back but don’t think Donald will be here next time.”

“We have just had the most incredible stay since the minute we arrived on Friday. The staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. Jasmine in the Spa is deserving of a special mention. As someone who rarely gets treatments, I was very unsure of myself she immediately put me at ease as well as delivering the most relaxing salt scrub.
