“Beautiful house with character, host Sinclair was really good on arrival, comfortable room with really comfy chair for sitting whilst doing paperwork later and had an excellent sleep. Breakfast selection was better than any hotel with homemade jams, cooked selections superb.”

“We had a great stay at our daughters wedding all the family in one large villa but still felt part of the hotel. Cars come and take you up to the hotel whenever you wish. Or the grounds are beautiful to walk up to the hotel. All the staff we met were amazing”

“There was no clear way to easily communicate with host. Thankfully he reached out to us when we didn’t arrive at check-out time. He was gracious, but we had no number to inform him that we would be late. I won’t be using Expedia/VRBO, or whatever it’s called again. The platform is not nearly as good as Airbnb.”

“Clare, our host was very helpful and the apartment we stayed in was like a home away from home, suited us perfectly, as wee had our dog with us too. ”

“Lovely, historic boutique hotel in Ayr. Small, but nicely appointed room, convenient location. Near the beach, close to transportation, etc. Walked to a beautiful golf course, Belleisle, and played there on a spectacular sunny day. Enjoyed 2 breakfasts and dinners in their restaurant. Very pleased with our choice of accommodations. ”

“GREAT hotel, excellent value! The food (both breakfast and dinner) was outstanding. It's right across the street from a group of high rise apartment buildings that looked rather sketchy, so we weren't sure how safe the area was. And THERE IS NO LAUNDRY FACILITY, regardless of what it says on Expedia!!!!! That was the main reason we booked this hotel on Expedia - only to arrive there and find out that it isn't so! ”

“This was the most elegant and b&b I’ve ever stayed in. The room was magnificent and the owner/operators were fantastic. They treated us marvelously, were welcoming, and made us feel right at home during our stay. The breakfast was absolutely the best. If you find yourself in Ayr and are looking for a place to stay book The Townhouse. You won’t be disappointed. ”

Molto bello

"Posto molto elegante, camera altrettanto elegante, spaziosa e con arredi ricercati. La doccia non è all'altezza del posto e anche il materasso troppo morbido. Colazione molto buona anche se poca la scelta della parte dolce ma giustamente in queste zone prediligono la parte salata. Lo consiglierei. "
