“Odor, not functioning, unsafe residents, bad A/C, dirty floor carpet”

“Nice and clean room, little dated”

“This hotel was disgusting. The bathroom door was so warped that it wouldn’t even shut. The ac unit ran non-stop, keeping me awake all night. I couldn’t turn it down or the room got too hot. The bathtub wall was peeling. I checked in online, it asked for my credit card for my pet deposit and then the front desk made me pay there. Just an unnecessary run around after traveling all day.”

“What a beautiful historical home, meticulously restored and furnished. Excellent location, safe neighborhood, easy access to restaurants. Nice bath sheets and linens including bathrobes. Lovely. We were on the third floor in room 7-Norma. If you can’t climb stairs, be sure to get a room on a lower floor. The only suggestion I have is to extend breakfast hours. Breakfast is served from 8-9. “We basically just crashed here. But the lady at the desk, Sandra, was wonderful. Breakfast was good, could have been a little hotter. Coffee was AMAZING. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was clean and inviting and everything was filled and maintained until 10 o'clock. Lots of choices for what you wanted to eat, and no TV blaring in your face. Would stay here again. The only thing I didn't like was that I could hear ppl in other rooms when they used their sink. The sink was out...

“Aside from a stain on one of the walls and the nearby carpet, the result of an apparent spill, the room was very nice. Staff was excellent. Very professional and expressed appreciation when I mentioned the stain.”

“It is a bit of traffic to get off I-80 and down here, but if you are heading Hwy 2 East, it is a great Oasis. Nice shower, friendly to pets, and a great breakfast. Not all Hampton Inns accept pets, sadly, or I would be a regular!”

“Toilet wouldn’t stop running all night. Kept randomly flushing. Got clogged each time it was used. Room smelled weird. Like someone had smoked in it and it was poorly cleaned afterwards. Front staff made it clear at check-in, “We are full tonight but if you must call me tonight, I will do what I can!” Not a good look. Thoroughly unimpressed. Won’t return. Would advise others to avoid this place.”
