“I stayed in the McCulloch Suite in the Sion Bass House (one of the two adjacent historic homes which make up this property). The suite was very spacious and clean. The check-in instructions which were emailed the day of check-in were very clear. There was a folding ironing board, iron, lots of extra towels, literature related to the history of the property and the city (for anyone who might be interested). “The prices are unreasonably high for how poorly maintained this place is. The ceilings had mold, the mattresses were very uncomfortable, the toilet would barely flush and was dirty, the water faucets were filthy, and the bathtub was disgusting. Overall, the property is in very poor condition and does not justify the price they charge. I would not recommend staying here”

“One word; disgusting. Mold, smoke smell, burn holes, unsafe area…. We were in and out in 10 minutes after 2 units were both uninhabitable. Run, don’t walk, anywhere else. They couldn’t pay me to stay there.”

“Unfortunately I will not be back. The driveway was hard to find and you have to drive through the parking lot for a gas station to get in, and the rest of the accessible entrances are walled off. “I booked a king bed accessible room with roll in shower, but upon arrival they said there were none available, so I got a king bed accessible room with tub. For me, that is ok, but not for those who need a roll in shower. Upon entering the room my wheelchair tires were sticky to the tile flooring. At one point early in my stay I had to wipe up some water off the bathroom floor and the towel was dirty afterwards confirming that the floors had not been mopped in a while, or were mopped with a...

“I planned to use the indoor/outdoor pool due to the excessive heat yet the pool was closed during the duration of my stay.”

“I've had the opportunity to stay previously at the Hyatt and was pleased with the remodeling and updates to the rooms. The only suggestions would be to install shower bars in the showers and a shelf in the shower area for the bath towels so you have someplace to put the towels while showering.”
