Great getaway place

Great view of the lake. Beautiful sunsets.. great place to put your boat in. Can even leave at the doc.. for a price ofcourse. Loved the lake. Great weekend get away

Great view

The view and the fire pit absolutely made it for our trip. Spent about 6 hours enjoying the sunset and the evening around the fire. Stop and get some wood on the way out. Amazing view. Very clean, smelled good. Easy to work with.

Great view

House was perfect for our family and it had a great view. Carpet is pretty stained. No lake access for swimming. We did rent a pontoon boat from the marina to swim and fish. No data left on internet when we rented. Overall we enjoyed the property.

Bare Bones

About 15 minutes from a wedding venue. Needed 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Worked for our needs. Kitchen needs more utensils. Needs updating overall. Internet was sporadic and low strength. There in November, summer would be better View of the lake is nice.

We made the best of our stay. The best thing about the property is the fire pit and the view of the river. The kitchen is not well appointed at all. There were two skillets that we could use. The house is old, which is fine with me, but it was not clean. We only used one of the two bathrooms because the one downstairs was not what I want to put my children in. The bed in the main bedroom was fine, but everyone else said the beds were uncomfortable. I should have looked harder before renting this place. That was my fault.

We stayed for two days. Would stay again. The good: - The fire pit and outdoor furniture was great for evening hanging out. Best part of staying here. - The view of the lake was impressive. If had one more day we would have rented a pontoon boat at the marina. - Close to Walmart and some restaurants. The house is out of the way and quiet, but it is only 15 minutes away from supplies and some shopping. - Parks to explore and trails. We did a little site seeing and walked a trail and visited a dam nearby. - There was a lot of rooms. We had enough space - plenty of towels and hot water Suggestions to host - We needed more dishes for cooking. Just go to goodwill and fill up on standards. We made due, but we could have used more cooking utensils, a strainer for the meat we cooked, and lids for the pans. - When we first got there there was a strong cleaning smell. We wanted to air out the building but the windows were painted shut. It did clear up after a day. - Please use more notes and labels. We did not have internet at the house and we did not have immediate access to email to check shut down procedures. So if you had written laminated instructions for arrival and shut down that would have been helpful. - The internet instructions were vague. In the notes it said there was a surcharge for internet so we tried to not use the house internet. We had no idea how much that charge would be. But the tv was a smart tv with streaming. Was that covered?
