“Great location! We were able to rise early to drive to the Silver Dollar Lake hike in the morning before checking out, and they were gracious to give us a bonus hour to clean up after returning before checkout! Nice staff, clean facility, and a lovely walking pack nearby. ”

“My stay in this historic hotel was perfect. Being in this historic hotel and town with all the stories made the stay even better. The owner/proprietor made me feel at home. We had great homemade cookies, muffins, and breakfast burritos. Her knowledge of the hotel history and who had stayed there in the past was incredible. Such as Edison and Tesla as past guests. I plan to stay again whenever I’m in the area. Next time will be a longer stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience.”

“Outstanding stay in historic home in keystone with beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. We were given a tour when we arrived and offered use of a gorgeous fireplace (ready to light) and sitting room, but we decided to take a walk and sit on patio overlooking pond instead. We saw a moose, beaver, wonderful birds including hummingbirds. “A humidifier was available but the room was still very hot. One of the two elevators was not working. We were fortunate since our room was still accessible but it was a busy week and since one of the elevators was out of service the wait time was increased. Also, the change machine was out of order. This is a simple thing to address but yet it wasn’t. ”

“I would say that this space is "ok". There are pros and cons to any vacation rental and this property is no different. The pros are location (fantastic - especially with kids), parking (easy and heated), and cleanliness. However, the fireplace does not work, the building has plumbing issues, and windows are drafty. The fireplace is a known issue and we were told the building is older and therefore it will not work. The water was shut off for a day and there is an occasional smell that comes from...
