Hotel vicino a Gunyah Beach - Sydney

“Lack of shops or restaurants within walking distance was the only downside. Room (executive king) was very nice with bonus view of Sydney skyline and a rugby field just below the building. Basic kitchen. Washer and dryer. ”

“Hallways were pretty drab, but the rooms were just great. Incredibly comfortable beds, top quality bed linens, wonderful shower. There is a cafe on the ground floor that was fantastic. Pretty neighborhood; and the Miranda mall is a very short walk away. We would absolutely stay there again. Price is very modest. Staff was super nice and helpful!! ”

“The motel is very tired…. Couldn’t open the curtains at all, no hot water our second day there, outside our doorway a bad hole in the driveway…. But the bed was good, nice clean white sheets, nice towels (but nowhere to hang them)…. Very below average accommodation!”

“Mortdale Hotel is an older property that has been renovated in the recent past. It appears the hotel is a secondary business. The desk is the bar on the main floor, not a problem. They were helpful and efficient checking us in. The commuter train runs by the hotel but the trains are quite quiet. I didn’t hear the trains unless I was awake. Excepting the train the neighbourhood was quiet. The air conditioning was great. Temps were cool so we used the unit to keep the air dry most of the...

“The staff was very helpful and kind..professional but personable. The location of this property is sketchy, and I did not feel safe outside after dark. Alot of trash and unkept grounds, signs of homeless. Rooms are pretty small. It's a quick 10 minute walk to Mascot station but if it was after dark I always used a cab. They say the airport transfer is free but that only applies from hotel to the airport, not vice versa. But the fee was only $10, so still a deal. Drivers and people running...
