“We had a good stay at Old Thorns. Stayed because attending a wedding. Quiet and spacious rooms. Exceptionally clean. Very good customer service throughout.”

“Un pub con camere in struttura separata dal pub (pochi metri). Le camere sono abbastanza ampie e con ottima dotazione: macchina per espresso, bollitore e minibar con birra, acqua e latte. Comodo parcheggio di fronte alle camere. Molto buono il cibo sia per la colazione che per i pasti principali, e ovviamente ottima la birra. Il punto di forza resta comunque il personale, sempre disponibile e impegnato a fare sentire il cliente a casa propria, complimenti a tutti!”

“Clean room but too busy for a private getaway ”

“The woman sitting at a tiny table with a laptop got every room mixed up, I ended up in a family room with my sibling, my 2 elderly great aunts were put in a double and my great uncle ended up in a single room which was in the attic, she had no idea and obviously gave the rooms to all the wrong people despite me showing her my booking! The whole place smelt damp and was dirty throughout, the beds were disgusting as was everything else, couldn't wait to get out of that horrible old rundown awful...

“Lieu Charmant et chaleureux, jolie vue et pleine campagne. Petit bemol : la poussiere et les toiles d araignees ! Dans les coins, sur la vmc, sur la Radio… Sinon petit dej anglais délicieux, accueil adorable et lieu convivial”

“I expect that no one from Expedia had visited this 'hotel' basically a pub with four rooms. They were tired, decoration poor, carpets grubby, toilet was noisy (Macerator) no breakfast options at all and very expensive, £95 per room!”

“The staff were very friendly, loved the history of the place. a few things could do with a bit more love, but staff told us there were plans for a spa etc. So would think about a re visit in a year in the summer.”
