“I can't say enough praise for the owner/ manager. Damien. A very happy,helpful person. Plus his staff.. Our car broke down and we had to wait hours but he was very understanding. Tried to book again for that night but unfortunately all rooms were gone. Will definitely stay again. And food, Wow !!!!! . Everything we had over the stay was so tasty. My partners Daughter had her 30th last month and that was a great night too. Cheers all.”

“Easy check in and loads of parking. The room was absolutely amazing, we were outside so felt like being in a cabin overlooking the garden. Bathroom was huge and clean. Went to the bar in the evening and the service was great. Can't fault this hotel”

“Everything was great, two very minor things. The radiator in the bathroom was emitting more heat than a nuclear power ststion, could do with truning down a tad. Was actually to hot to stay in the bathroom with the door closed. And the broadband was very slow. But in the grand scheme of things, nothing to worry about.”

“Un pub con camere in struttura separata dal pub (pochi metri). Le camere sono abbastanza ampie e con ottima dotazione: macchina per espresso, bollitore e minibar con birra, acqua e latte. Comodo parcheggio di fronte alle camere. Molto buono il cibo sia per la colazione che per i pasti principali, e ovviamente ottima la birra. Il punto di forza resta comunque il personale, sempre disponibile e impegnato a fare sentire il cliente a casa propria, complimenti a tutti!”

Il minibar include diversi prodotti gratuiti tra cui il latte, cosa decisamente non comune e personalmente molto apprezzata visto che lo utilizzavo per il caffè che mi potevo fare grazie alla macchina Nespresso presente in camera e anch’essa gratuita, con anche dei buoni biscotti!! Buona selezione di canali tv e una ampia cassetta di sicurezza che poteva comodamente...

“Lovely old coaching inn. Check in was friendly and we were shown to our room. Rooms recently refurbished with very plush furnishings. We had a superior double. Lovely little touches like bottles of water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, great toiletries, even a pillow spray. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Like that they have kept the tradition of the building with pictures of the historical person and a description. Would stay here again if visiting Godalming ”
