“This exquisite little hotel is an architectural gem, beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms with sumptuous bathrooms, designed for luxury getaways. No food service is offered, except a token continental morning starter, but ample dining is available within walking distance. Hotel staff is very helpful, friendly and discreet. We would gladly have spent more nights here, and heartily recommend the Carlton for a unique experience.”

“The room was clean, with modern/quirky tech features. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs, providing a place to store our luggage after the check out time. The hotel is in a good location for the Redjet passenger ferry and the high street with bars and restaurants. It is also located a few mins walk from the taxi rank and bus stop that has connections to Newport.”

“Wow what a great place to stay and eat. The hotel is spotless and our room was a lovely size and really comfortable. The pub is just opposite and it had a great atmosphere and we received a great welcome from the staff who were all brilliant. After some drinks we had dinner and the food was really fresh and cooked perfectly and really reasonably priced. Breakfast was included you help yourself to the buffet table which had plenty of choice then we had a full English. Just like dinner the food...
