“Our lodge was amazing there was plenty of room for 4 adults and the lodge can accommodate 6 although only 4 people can sit at the dining table inside. The hot tub was ready for use when we arrived and self check in was easy. Amanda who came to check the hot tub was very friendly and helpful. Please note the lodge has underfloor heating so the wall heaters aren’t required and the hot water seems to be regulated from the thermostat in the kitchen. “Had a lovely stay. The main property looks just like the online images and is really beautiful however, I’m assuming that most people stay in the building to the left which is less historic. Our check in was easy and even though we were brought to a room with just one bed, the staff rectified this pretty quickly and brought us to a room with two beds, which is what we had booked . Comfortable beds, quiet rooms. I would imagine it’s a little louder in the high season. We were a bit disappointed...

“Nick is such a lovely and helpful host and the place is beautiful, peaceful and has everything you need. Unfortunately it was raining all the time so we couldn't explore the area as much as we wanted to but that's UK weather for you.
