Hotel a Hamlet

“Appears to be newly built. Bathroom fixtures are still sparkly. Staff was just as sparkly and helpful. Had a fantastic stay.”

“The place has been painted on the outside and that is about it. The sign is blown off so if it wasn’t for the signs at the main road you wouldn’t know where it was. We didn’t stay for breakfast but it had a bit of everything. The room was clean. Just very old. Smelled bad. Staff at check in and out was very nice.”

“We checked in and our first room was visibly dirty. I asked for housekeeping to come address the issues and was informed that housekeeping was not available until the following morning. I asked for a new room and was given one, but it was only slightly better than the first. We ended up buying our own cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves. “97 degrees outside. The A/C in my room did not work properly. Sweating all night as it would not cool my room. All I got at the front desk the next morning was, “Sorry.” Will find a different place to stay on my trip out west next summer! :(”

“This is the second time we stayed in this hotel in 2 years. Both times we had issues with outlets, the lamps and USB outlets. This time they had lamps that the outlets didn't work, we had one outlet and one usb that worked in the whole room. The outlet by the a/c did not work at all and the lamp in the corner had a missing bulb. In the bathroom the fan did not work and the floor was dirty. “The good: Has a pool and hot tub, which was nice for the kids. The staff is accommodating. The breakfast was acceptable. The bad: Hallways did not smell nice. Room was damp and had a musty smell. AC did not work well. Fridge/freezer was off when we got there, freezer was defrosted and full of water, which I had to bail out with the ice bucket and dry with a bathroom towel. Bathroom sink was minuscule and the wood was rotting underneath. Under and behind the bed was disgusting, full of dust...
