Hotel vicino a Washington Park Zoo - Michigan City

“We arrived to check in & there was a sign the POOL was closed! We had planned on frequent use of the pool. Check in staff said it was widely stated on their website, but we used Expedia & it was not. Very disappointed. The Good: Food at Lakeside cafe was excellent! The bands in the bar by the casino were great! Even the country one & I usually don't like country. The Bad: The beds were awful, lumpy & squeaky, pillows were so uncomfortable flat & hard. We were looking for the Sports bar to watch...

“Only thing was that I paid for a “water veiw” cabin and it had the view of the parking lot. Otherwise, a nice stay.”

“The biggest turn off was the breakfast staff, my husband accidentally spilled some waffle batter mix and we were trying to wipe it up and she comes and makes the biggest deal over that. The room we stayed in gave eerie vibes and feelings , had horrible dreams all night. lol the desk ladies were nice, and it’s a very quiet and not busy place very peaceful.”

“Walking in, the smell was strong chlorine and … something else. Not sure if they were trying to “hide” other odors. We were greeted by two men. One older gentleman was “in training” by the younger one, and he was speaking non English (my guess is Pakistani). Check in took longer than it should have, but they were nice enough. “Very spacious and beautiful rooms”

“Hotel standard, camera con tutti i servizi, moquette. Area hall piccola è adibita alla mattina per la colazione poco spazio e pochi tavoli, colazione classifica. Personale cordiale. Comodo ai servizi di ristorazione e centri commerciali. Vicino al Parco nazionale Dune.”

“The room was clean and check in was quick. The side and back parking lot areas could be checked better, as I was checking in there was someone passed out in their driver seat in the back with their door wide open. It’s pretty sketchy back there at night.”

“Everything about this hotel was terrible. The room was filthy, covered in dust and grime. There was hair and dead bugs on the back of the toilet on top of the tank. Dead moth on the t.p., dead ants on the bath towels. Old beer can on the balcony from the last guests. We asked to get a clean comforter and were told they didn't have any more. Ice machine was covered in sticky grossness. Super shady area. The smell was absolutely terrible. Like mold and dirty diapers mixed with wet dog. Cost was...
