“Extremely disappointed. Advertised as one thing (apparently Hotels.com won’t let me say what, so I have had to re word my initial complaint), when I checked in, I was given something completely different. Suffice to say, when I booked I was not expecting to be staying in a bedroom in someone’s house. Unable to get a refund dispute the proof I supplied that the booking was misrepresented. “Clean room, helpful check-in staff”

“Room was nice and clean and the staff helpful. I was able to park close to the entrance. Breakfast (if you choose to include it) was via a voucher for the services and I had a full english to set me up for the day. One thing to be aware of is that Google Maps shows the hotel rooms here as having air-con. This is not the case and is an error by Google. Both the Expedia and Days Inn websites correctly do not show air con, which should be borne in mind if planning to stay in hot weather. That said...

“Nice hotel in quiet location with lovely outside area. One member of hotel staff unhelpful when we advised that the WiFi was unavailable. Good evening meal, breakfast offered a reasonable choice but cooked option wasn’t great. Good hotel for the money though.”

“Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Nice large room. Lovely breakfast. Only down side was the noise was the main road being at the front of the hotel. Totally recommend this venue.”

“The property overall was disgustingly dirty !! It needs to be completely gutted and renovated. Nail/toe nail clippings on the sofa bed. All the material on the sofa cushions was tourn and ripped. The pull out mattress also had rips in it. Carpet was thick with animal hair , bed had long clumps of human hair on. Kettle was rusty inside. Spiders everywhere, stained bath and toilet seat. Furniture in the room was falling apart. The horrific smell of animals started at reception and carried on...
