“This is an old, historic house with remarkable upgrades. It needs some cosmetic work, but it is comfy and fully furnished to meet modern needs. It is on the second floor and there is no elevator. People may want to take that into consideration when booking. It's very convenient to the Portsmouth waterfront, Naval Hospital and in summer, the HRT ferry to Norfolks waterside district.”

“Beautiful property. The landscaping was lovely and it was fun watching the ducks in the pond. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome. They supplied adequate kitchen equipment, and toiletries and beach chairs, etc. We had plenty of space. Pool was nice. My only concern is that VRBO did not provide me with the opportunity or phone number to talk with the host directly until one day before our arrival. I had to go through customer service to ask questions about the property and...

“The property looked new. Marlon, the host, supplied the kitchen with an assortment of pots, pans, utensils, and silverware. The property was close to a main street; numerous restaurants and a major, grocery store were located less than a mile from the property.”
