“South Lake Chalet is walking distance from Heavenly Ski Lift (and casinos if that's your thing); also to the beach and to hiking. Both times we've stayed here, the fireplace was lit and the room heated, a welcoming touch on a winter's day and after a long drive, The room is clean, has real dishes, glasses and utensils; microwave and sink. Dog friendly. We'll be back and recommend highly.”

“The place was clean, there were very nice little touches, like one complimentary drink per person, one complimentary marshmallow kits per person and a simple but very nice continental breakfast. The staff is what sets the place apart. Very friendly and on the last day my car would not start and they went out of their way to secure jumper cables and get my car stared to head back down the mountain. ”

“This place never disappoints (except for the ridiculous parking fee!). We love staying here for the convenience, for the cleanliness and just the overall amenities you come to expect from a Marriott location. The pool here is one of our favorites and we love that it is open even in the cold season! The staff here is always so kind and helpful too, so it’s worth every penny!”

“The rooms were very accommodating and all of the staff had excellent customer service skills. My husband really like how easy was to access the the gondola to access the snow boarding area. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and we enjoyed very much a BIG THANK YOU TO ALL STAFF”
