“We came to Hartwell for a long weekend to see ByWater Call at the High Cotton Music Hall, right down the street, and also celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. This property is very convenient to the venue and to the restaurants we ate at. It’s a neat place, lights, fan, and sound machine were on upon arrival which was welcoming (no windows in this unit so it is pitch black without lights on). “This is probably one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Booked a non smoking room and it obviously wasnt. The room was in bad shape to begin with and the AC unit started leaking a couple days into my stay. A shelf had fallen off the wall and not put back up, shower curtain falling off the wall, tub was peeling and took a while to drain. The mattress was in bad shape and paint peeling off the ceiling. ”

“The room was very clean & spacious. Our dinner was very good. The breakfasr was exceptional. We were extra time to keep our room as our vehicle was in the shop unexpectedly. We were not charged for the extra time. The only negative was the tub was incredibly slippery.”
