Hotel a Haverhill

“For the price we paid ($37/night) I can’t say enough about the value. The staff were all friendly and great and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good for a free hotel breakfast (the typical cereal/yogurt/waffle machine/toast/juice/coffee plus scrambled eggs and biscuits and sausage gravy). The man who checked us in and seemed to be the main staff person was very friendly and competent. I would stay here again anytime I’m in Grinnell. The pool whitecoat could use some help...

“Staff was very helpful when we requested a room change to the first floor since they did not have an elevator. The gym had good working equipment but could add a few more weights. The A/C unit worked very well to regulate room comfort level.”

“The lady who welcomed us was very nice and polite. We had reservations for a king bed and got switched to double queen. Which was not a bad thing. We did not want a themed room. The room was fine. It had newer carpet and the typical things, mini fridge and a microwave. The beds are extra firm and the towels are so thin you almost needed 2 after a shower. “Very helpful attentive staff. Although, they are a little under staffed. The breakfast sausage and eggs were cold and they apparently had ran out of waffle mix.”
