“The room was beautifully decorated with a beach and ocean theme, and the fine details were clearly considered including a very well equipped kitchenette, soft robes and so much more. The view of the beach and ocean from the room and its location literally right out your door was the experience we were looking for; and the hike to the peak overlooking the ocean was a great perk. “With full transparency, I had no idea what I was getting into with respect to the Nalu Retreat property near Halifax. I'm not a Yoga person, or really a "laid back" person. “The place was not the cleanest. The bed is very hard and was a double which would have been nice to know in the listing but it doesn’t say what size the bed is. It is a louder place with people above you with kids running and people walking around. There is also a hot plate in the place but a sign that says you aren’t allowed to cook only heat things up. Overall the place was okay and the host was responsive but I would not recommend this place.”
