Casa per le vacanze di lusso senza pari sul Little Red River

Vieni a rilassarti e fai ricordi di una vita al Chateau on the Little Red, una casa di lusso di 4.292 piedi quadrati situata sul bellissimo fiume Little Red a Heber Springs, nell'Arkansas. Il castello è stato progettato dal famoso architetto dell'Arkansas Eugene Pfeifer Levy. I suoi dettagli architettonici includono soffitti altissimi, enormi finestre, travi a vista e incredibili pavimenti in legno di pino.

Il castello dispone di sontuose zone giorno con viste spettacolari sul fiume. Al piano inferiore si trovano tre camere da letto, ognuna con vista sul fiume. Al secondo piano si trova un'enorme quarta camera da letto / camera a castello. La cucina principale del castello è una delizia per i buongustai. Il castello, tuttavia, comprende anche una seconda cucina completa e due grandi sale riunioni, ognuna con il proprio camino.

Vi è una grande veranda riparata e un enorme ponte per godersi la vista sul fiume e rilassarsi all'aperto. Il ponte inferiore e la darsena privata offrono viste ancora più intime del Little Red River.

I giardini del castello sono a dir poco spettacolari. Gli ospiti entrano nel parco attraverso un ingresso privato recintato, splendidi paesaggi, percorsi in pietra e una grande fontana completano l'ambiente lussureggiante del castello. e un molo privato. Mentre il castello è il sogno di un pescatore, è molto, molto di più. Gli ospiti possono fare escursioni a piedi da Bridal Veil Falls, Sugarloaf Mountain, Collins Creek o Mossy Bluff Nature Trail, kayak o paddle boarding sul Little Red River, sci nautico o salto con le scogliere sul Greer Ferry Lake, giocando a golf al Red Apple Inn & Country Club , trascorrendo un pomeriggio nell'affascinante Ruland Train Museum, facendo shopping alla Ellen Hobgood Gallery nel centro di Heber Springs, o semplicemente leggendo un ottimo libro mentre ti godi la splendida cornice del castello.

Five day fishing trip with kids

The property was great. Nice location , boat dock was very convenient. The house was clean and spacious. We did have an issue checking in. The doors were locked so we had to contact VRBO because we could not get in touch with the owners. It was an honest mistake but kind of a bummer after 10 hours of travel and groceries in the vehicle. Another suggestion would be for the closets to have some hangers for cloths. The closet was spacious but without hangers so we could not hang anything. A little more shampoo, paper towels, toilet paper would have also been nice. We were there for five nights so we had to go buy some more of these things. Not terrible but it would have been nice. The property was great and convenient for all of us so these minor things would not deter me from renting it again.

Beautiful Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chateau. It was a very well equipped home with anything you might need in any way. Plenty of space in and out whether you wanted to be together or needed some quiet time for yourself. Having the dock and access to the canoe was also nice. Above all the home was immaculate and the beds were comfortable.

Great Place

We enjoyed our stay at this house. Our host’s communication was excellent and the house was in clean condition when we arrived. We loved the accessibility of the boat doc, which allowed us to get a lot of fishing in, although we probably been more successful if the dam was generating less. The house probably needs a couple of updates. The top oven is not working properly, the sink sprayer has no water pressure, and the TV in the living room is probably on it’s last leg (freezing up, controls not working correctly, etc.).

Chateau on the Little Red River

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This home is comfortable, capacious and clean. Owners have thoughtfully provided often-used items and everything was in working order. I would not hesitate to book again, and hope to bring friends and family next time.

Still the BEST!

This was our second Christmas in a row to stay at The Chateau. Last year was a 5-star review and this year’s stay is another 5-star stay. I guess that makes The Chateau a guaranteed 10! You cannot ask for nor expect a better place to stay while visiting the Central Arkansas area. Some details: easily found using the given directions or by plugging the address into your phones mapping app, tons of parking space for family and guests, huge spaces to get together or get away to relax, 2 awesome kitchens, upstairs area is great for kids or teens, wrap-around deck for enjoying the sights and sounds of the river, outdoor fire pits for those that love sitting by a campfire, and a boat dock that you can launch from or just fish and relax. Margo, we will see you guys again! Thanks for making our Christmas a true blessing!

Perfect Down Time

Great retreat space for our family to cook together, play games, fish, hike and spread out for quiet time. Your kitchen space and equipment is beyond excellent. In our opinion it sleeps 10 comfortably in beds. The two pull out beds upstairs are only single beds and need replacing with something else. Two single murphy beds in the second kitchen/ living area would be great.

Amazing stay

Can’t say enough about the place. It’s so nice inside and out. Had so many extras of the basic needs plus additional things to do on the dock. When water isn’t generating you can wade off from the dock as well. Great place and thanks for all the attention to detail.

Little Red Getaway

This is a stunning house in a great location. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a ton of space. The hosts are super communicative and even went out of their way to let us know that the Northern Lights were viewable when we were there. The owners clearly take pride in their house and it was a joy to utilize all of the thoughtful amenities.

Family retreat

Incredible home spacious and extremely well designed. Master suite, comfortable bed, setting area provided views because of the Hugh windows. Two kitchens, game room, large great room. Kitchen well equipped for family cooking and dining. Any would love this home.

Perfect Vacation as Always

We stay at this property every year with our family and it never disappoints. We usually come at the end of July but moved up to end of June. We catch trout every day, regardless of when we go. House is fully stocked and large, just perfect.

Sleepover Celebtatiom

This home is beautiful, and Margo was a wonderful host. The house was perfect for a 16th birthday party sleepover. The two kitchens and living areas worked really well to provide the kids and adults with great space. Everything was very comfortable and thoughtful—right down to the sleep machines in the bedrooms. The location on the Little Red made it extra special. Margo was quick to respond all questions and so nice and welcoming.

Fabulous time and place

We had so much fun at this property! It worked perfectly for our family to celebrate our Dad/Granddad/Great Granddad’s 90th birthday! All generations had so much fun! Fishing, canoeing, playing in the front yard, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, grill! The layout was perfect for our family and having the 2 refrigerators was so convenient. We didn’t really use the second kitchen other than the frig- but everything was super nice, clean, and convenient. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!

Girls Trip for Eclipse and a Birthday

The Chateau on the Little Red River was an amazing spot to view the 2024 eclipse! We spent the day on the river dock. So peaceful. There is a canoe but we weren't sure if we could use it so we left it alone. It was certainly a temptation. The home is positively wonderful. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax. Our group dwindled down to 4 from the original 6 and we were each able to have our own bedrooms which was super nice. And all of our beds were quite comfortable. The master bed has a big Jacuzzi tub for the ultimate in relaxation. We only used the main kitchen and it had everything we needed to cook delicious meals. There is a nice gas grill out back as well. Margo is a super hostess! 5 stars all around. She was so responsive to my questions. She even left us a bottle of wine and eclipse glasses. Thank you Margo for everything!
