“Alice who owns the property goes above and beyond what she needs to do she knows every guest by there 1st name had a meal in the Cantonese restaurant (which alice runs) on Friday and the food was 1st class breakfast there a choice a good choice all the staff are very friendly beds very comfortable and clean , showers nice and hot decor could do with a up date but to be honest I wasn’t there to look at the decor there was a group of 6 and we would definitely go back ”

“Nice clean room but a bit on the small side, excellent shower. Noisy in the evening untill closing time in the pub downstairs but then lovely and quiet. We didn't eat here in the evening as we were meeting people in Pickering but the food certainly looked good! Breakfast next morning was excellent with a great choice of continental style and the various cooked options. Parking in the car park is very limited but there is easy street parking at the front.
