“We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). “This cabin was perfect for a quick weekend away. It had everything we needed from paper towels, tissues, and toilet paper (not the cheap kind either) to bottles of water in the refrigerator. It was extremely clean. The area was quiet. The only thing we regret is not being able to sit on the porch because it was too chilly. Would absolutely recommend. ”

“Cabin was nice, kitchen nice there was a little dust, we could not find remote to tv by kitchen and we looked every where and we found it tucked in stairs by chair with ottman. We could not use grill as it was full of charcoal and not clean. But it was a nice stay and cabin was beautiful and peaceful. Would stay again. ”

“The cabin was so cute, quiet, and relaxing. There’s no potable water there though, which would have been nice to know in advance. The hosts arranged to have some more bottled water brought to up within an hour of us arriving after we reached out, and also gave us recommendations on hikes in the area. Overall, my partner and I had a lovely time and would comeback in a heartbeat. ”
