“We had a standard room without balcony. The structure is quite old but well maintained. We were also able to check in earlier which we were very grateful for, thanks again. The bathroom was very spacious and modern. The room was clean. It is a bit loud, you can hear the ventilation system and some noise from the road as well as the other guests if they make noise. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. For Bondi Beach the value for money is okay. Parking is 25 $ extra. The location is great,...

“The room was clean and large. Check in was smooth. The hotel clearly made an effort with soundproofing with double doors between the bar downstairs and the hotel rooms upstairs. Some noise still seeped through from the bar but it was muffled. “The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen.
The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around.
I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed.
Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place.
