“Stayed only one night for a law school graduation. The apartment was clean and had properly locking doors. The bed was hard as a rock. Zero give, and my spouse and I both had aching shoulders and backs the next day. The biggest issue, something I have NEVER in years of VRBO rentals had to do, was submit not only my photo ID but also an additional selfie to get access to the unit. This was NOT disclosed in the listing (only said you MAY need to provide additional ID), and was incredibly intrusive...

“I'll be honest, this place doesn't leave the best first impression but it really grew on me after the first night and did become a cozy retreat after doing touristy things in STL. Has everything you need at a cheaper price than a hotel room, it's easy to get to the building, private parking spot, the buliding itself has a keypad entry so feels secure, nice neighborhood, and even has a small area out back for dogs. With that said, I probably wouldn't stay here with more than 2 adults unless...

“Good location. Parking garage is underground. You have to back out of it. The mattress needs to be replaced. The sheets need to be replaced with cotton. The lamps in the bedroom didn’t work. We couldn’t adjust the radiators, and it was too warm. They repainted the tile in the bathroom, and it looked like a child had done it. ”

“Pros: It's a cute, bright, roomy apartment well equipped with a washer/dryer and large screen TV. The living room was big enough to build a huge Hot Wheels skatepark. The neighborhood is nice, and conveniently located for my daughter, who lives off Tower Grove Park. The yard behind the building was handy for my dog, although if you have an escape artist, it is not fully enclosed.Cons: The host does not answer calls after 9:00 p.m. Knowing that, I checked in early to get the codes and let him...
