“Great pub, exceptionally clean, comfortable and modern rooms and super friendly staff. As a bonus, the food is of a very high standard and the Guinness was decent. Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. “We had a lovely two night stay at Losehill. Ideally situated if you want to walk up Losehill or Mam Tor and Edale is a 20 minute bus ride away. The bus can be caught from the bottom of the lane. The service from every member of staff we encountered during our stay was outstanding. The food was excellent with amazing views as you eat.”

“The room pretty much ticked all the boxes for me. everything in very good condition, well maintained, very clean room and bathroom. Very reasonably priced. Bath/shower, small touches like biscuit with the tea/coffee kit, and real soap, no nasty squirty dispensers.
It is over a pub, so some conversations audible until 11pm, but not to a problem level, and no restaurant, but plenty of food options within easy walking distance. Pub looked fine as well.”
