“Expedia was the problem for the check-in process. If your travels take you to Hilo, this is the place to stay. It’s on quite possibly the most beautiful neighborhood in Hilo. Beautiful setting and great hosts. There is quite a bit of coqui frogs and it sounds like a frogpocalyose. Lol but after the first night, we slept through it. Truly awesome lodging option! Brand new rooms. So nice. 10+ AAA+”

“A wonderful guesthouse a few miles outside of town. It had everything we needed and the communication with the owners was great. The only small downside was the combo washer/dryer took 5 hours to do a very small load and we couldn't use it overnight because it was right next to the pullout bed.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this clean, thoughtfully decorated, and conveniently located residence. It was somewhat difficult to find the first time due to all the cars parked on the road, making the driveway hard to find. However, once we found it, we were easily able to find our parking spot and get into the home thanks to the directions sent from Simone. The home is very cozy and we enjoyed our stay. We were thankful for the earplugs as the frogs are quite loud at night.”

“The property lists a kitchen but there is not. The is a refrigerator, plates/cups/etc and some plug in appliances, but washing dishes in a tiny bathroom sink was not ideal. There was laundry accessible and the house was very safe and comfortable during a hurricane. Just beware that if you are looking for a kitchen, there isn’t really. Otherwise the property was perfect for our stay.”

“We, a family of 5, felt very comfortable at this location in Hilo. It was walking distance to a local pizza place, grocery store, farmers market, and even the beach. The house was very clean and the host has for sure thought about all the little things that a traveler would need for an extended stay. They had boogie boards, beach towels, a day trip cooler, not to mention the simple home amenities such as coffee, sandwich bags, fresh local cookies on check in, and even (my wife laughs at me...
