“Had a very pleasant stay in their family unit. Room was very spacious, with a nicely renovated bathroom. Got a yummy fresh bottle of milk at check-in, which was a pleasant surprise! Walking distance to the playground and beach. The room was in the front facing the main road so despite the double-glazed windows, you can hear trucks. I would request a room in the back if available next time but otherwise, will stay again!”

“A very nice highend, very well maintained motel in Nelson. I can tell that they care about their property and keep it up to the standard. The kitchenette has anything you need to cook. However, there is no ventilation system so you have to open windows to air the smell out. Lovely gesture of chocolate for guests in the fridge. Comfortable bed with heat pump in the room. Highly recommended and will be back again.”

“We loved this property. It was private and peaceful with a lovely rural outlet and some very cute pet sheep. While near the main homestead the set up and positioning made it private with its own parking area and entranceway. A short walk was a paved track which went down to the beach. Stunning views from the top over the bay. We spent most of our time onsite for the 4 days we were there celebrating a 90th birthday and it was excellent to be able to bring my elderly dad there each day for...
