“Breakfast was typical. Ac worked just fine ”

“There were no room darkening window coverings and there was a bright parking lot light right outside the room. There was no shampoo, conditioner or lotion. The tissue box was empty. There was one plastic drink cup and one foam coffee cup for two people. As long time members, we cannot believe that this property is affiliated with Choice Hotels.”

“A man, who I never even gave my name to, came up the stairs, barefooted, and only after I had to call him from the front desk…and said “here’s your key” & walked away. We did get in late, around 2:30 am. He then called our room and had my husband get out of bed, to go pay a pet fee that wasn’t mentioned to us, nor were any amenities or instruction given upon “check in” (I.e. when the barefooted man handed a room key to a stranger) The pillows smelled like an un showered person had been sleeping...

The pool was clean and very fun to be in.Breakfast was a perfect variety of proteins and carb options the only thing that felt like it didn’t hit the spot was the coffee it tasted watery, Overall the stay was excellent and we will definitely use this hotel again in the future ”

“I was on the road from Salt Lake to St Louis and after driving 12 hours I just wanted a clean place to lie down with some heat and quiet. Great price. The manager, probably the owner, upgraded my room. Yes, it's an older building with older facilities and I don't recommend the orange juice, but it's more than enough for a Frugal Traveler.”

“We got a suite and it was nice. The breakfast was good but not as good as years ago, with no omelets or hash browns any more . But it's free so I can't complain too much. Pool area is still beautiful but I miss the hot tub. I like that it's walking distance to Whiskey Creek, one of my favorite restaurants. I've been going there for 45 years, through different ownerships and still enjoy it.”
