So thrilled you saw our puddle (or paddle) of 6 resident wild platypus/platypuses/platypi and the baby platypus/puggles/platypups on our Dew Rivulet lake. We are so fortunate to have them and find it intriguing how there are such varied views on names for groups, young and spelling of the plural relating to the world's strangest animal - the ornithorhynchus anatinus!!! For our guests this is a welcome tranquil break in revived farm buildings, or the heritage homestead, on their travels in the Western Wilds; something not available in the busy towns and cities.With lack of shops & eateries in Hollow Tree ...with just 3 houses, we provide good self-cater facilities including complimentary breakfast, firewood for campfires, BBQ, induction, microwave & convection cooking, electric blankets, heating, linen, toiletries etc. Warm regards, Cally
