“I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, very close to several bus stops and many food options. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The only small things that could be improved are the storage space in the room (there’s no wardrobe, just a clothes rack) and the cleaning, as used cups were not removed during my stay. Overall, it’s a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it! ”

“Lovely design and style. My little room William, perfect for only one person, was clean. The shower is amazing. The hotel is situated near the centre of the city. Check in was virtual but very easy. ”

Breakfast was great, good quality and plenty of options, although asked for it to be charged to our room and a few days later received an email stating we had an outstanding balance. A bit of an inconvenience. Staff were welcoming but not very forthcoming with information to help new travelers visiting Edinburgh for the first time. ”

“Great location with upgraded amenities! The bed was a little hard, and gym was an extra step, each time you visit, you need to check in and get a separate key. Staff was amazing and very welcoming in this boutique hotel. ”

“Loved the big space, and the bed and couch were very comfortable! If anyone else is wondering as I did if the round dining table is a good size for working on a computer, there’s plenty of space for 1. I preferred sitting by the window there so just moved the desk chair. Super easy to walk around the castle to get places, and a Sainsburys is a block away. Felt safe at night to walk back. As someone who doesn’t usually get their room cleaned partway but had a longer stay, I do wish there was say...

“Great space for 2; we loved it here! The washer/dryer was great to have for a longer stay. It was equipped with everything we could have needed, and very spacious. Would highly recommend to others and would book again!”
