Ideal location for exploring this part of Northumberland with the coast, Bamburgh, Alnwick, Berwick etc fairly close. Easy to find, being right on the A1, but traffic noise was minimal and not a problem. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.”

On the downside was the fact that our room was just above the pub and on Saturday night was very loud until midnight and we couldn’t sleep. So make sure to ask for a room on higher floor.
