“Our room was lovely and clean, the public areas were very comfortable and the grounds were well-maintained. The food did not really come up to our expectations and we only ate there on the first night.”

“Friendly staff, nice breakfast, unfortunately no hot water for the whole weekend. Staff kept saying it was repaired but that wasn't the case. The weekend, was cold and wet so no hot shower was pretty grim.”

“Fabulous hotel. Clean and modern room with lovely view of the courtyard. Staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Great location right next to the castle. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh and cooked to order. ”

“This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again ”

“Overall excellent place to stay. Staff friendly and service fantastic. The only downside was music could be heard from the bar area at night until approximately 10pm. This didn’t bother us, but it’s worth bearing in mind when making a reservation. Location was superb, short drive to Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses for trips to the Farne Isles and even Holy Island was within reach. The beautiful beach at Beadnell was only a short walk away.
