“This place was amazing! It was a style of Palm Springs. Parking on site, 2 min walk to the beach, coles across the road, with cafes, restaurants and walking tracks. The owner was so nice and explained how he started this motel. The rooms including bathroom, kitchen, living room was huge. Between 4 people the place was spacious for all of us. They came to clean our room every 3 days, restocked the fridge with complimentary drinks, chips and protein balls, it was so good. Only a 10 min drive to...

“Location was as I had hoped, lovely beach access, bus stops, Currumbin Sanctuary and general store opposite, easy walks to Currumbin Surf Club and Tugun. The apartment was quirky, furnished with odd furniture and op shop style decor, a noisy single bed was unsuitable with squeaky springs. People noise from other apartments was often disturbing and being directly under the flight path to the airport was also an issue throughout my stay, I wouldn’t recommend or return. ”

“Pros: Location is excellent and front end staff fantastic. Parking under building a superb bonus. Cons: apartment rundown so cost reflected this. Hot water was near non existent unless both showers used simultaneously. Lucky we didn’t need to be there a lot so easy to deal with.”

“The lady I dealt with at reception was so kind and helpful. The room itself was spacious, clean and modern. Perfect location and in walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Would stay here again. The outside of the property was a bit unassuming however it’s not really a big deal.”

“Room didn't seem clean despite the smell of floor cleaner. Ants, live and dead, kept dropping on the bed from a non-working light socket above the bed. Had to move the bed to other part of the room to allow us to sleep. Resort was noisy, with a group in the picnic area below our room. For all these issues, we could not report any of these due to very limited hours over the weekend that the reception was open.”

“We loved our overnight stay at La Costa, wish we could of stayed longer. Bit out of the action but they have bikes to use for free so can get around faster. Loved the basket of goodies for breaky and snacks.”

“Need more explanation for guest arriving outside of reception hours, was suppose to get a email with check in instruction but did not come through, rang earlier in the day but no one advise to just contact the after hours team and they would assist”

“Just stayed for one night for a night out in Kirra. Yeah it's a little dated, but it's very clean, functional and rooms are big! A bargain for what you get. Easy couple of minute drive to Kirra. ”

“The studios are a very odd design; the tv comes up out of the sofa meaning the only option is to watch it in bed ( the bed is in the middle of the room) and the sofa faces the window. Would have been much more useful having the bed head against the wall and the tv on the adjacent wall with the tv on the adjacent wall. No tea or coffee facilities that we could find and unless you studied the control panel before dark, you could easily open the curtains rather than turn the bathroom light on in...
