Our experience was as such.
My Partner left her expensive hair dryer that was a sentimental birthday present in the room after we checked out. She called the motel shortly after we we left and explained if they could keep it aside and that we would collect it the next afternoon. They attempted to give us another hair dryer which was a basic cheap one and denied that no other dryer was picked up. The manager said she would call us back the next night.and we did not hear back. After a number of days of trying to call them we finally spoke to the manager who had checked us in and out, who said she couldn't explain what happened. I mentioned that in my view and logically the only 2 people to have handled picking up the hair dryer were the cleaner of the manager!!!! She denied it. My personal experience therefore which I pass on is that this motel and some of their staff are dishonest and cannot be trusted at all. A very bad reflection of the establishment. Future potential clientele should be made aware of this experience and to lock everything valuable away. PLease share my experience and my partner will do the same in her words.
