Inn a Hook

“This is a very old Inn with oak beams and uneven floors. The facilities were good however the room was unbearably hot. Even though we had 2 fans on we were just covered in sweat as soon as we came out of the shower. It was impossible to sleep.”

“Have stayed at the Inn many times, always enjoy the stay, In the past we have found the rooms to be very hot overnight, on this occasion the heat was off the scale, so much so we had to sleep with the front door open, they need to install air conditioning, our sleep wasn’t great at all, The staff are lovely, have always been great to speak to, however on this occasion the guy taking out order at dinner was abrupt and very slightly rude,”

“What a fabulous place to stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The pub and the outdoor areas are wonderful the food and drinks plentiful and delicious. We stayed in Bluebell room which had everything you could possibly need including toiletries water tea/coffee iron in fact all you need is your clean undies 😂 added bonus we sat and watched the world cup final outside with a great bunch of people from all over the world. “The room decor and facilities are excellent, but the room itself is only the size of most single rooms. Its small 4ft 6ins bed has only just enough room to edge around it. There is no wardrobe for clothes. ”

“The staff were friendly the room was clean. However, plumbing was shocking when a person in another room showered at the same time the cold water pressure dropped and risked scolding. In the room we were in there was poor ventilation with no aircon room was stiffling at night.”
