“Hotel was very clean. Close to the airport. Bed was very comfortable. They had a small coffee stand inside the hotel with good coffee, lattes, etc. They have a freezer if you need to store fish, however there were not able to accommodate us on the night the we stayed so we had to take our boxes to the airport to store it which was $24/box per night. Overall, we would stay again if we had to. Wish it hadn't of been so expensive ($500/nt). Definitely wasn't a $500/nt type of area or room. ”

“Coast inn was a great spot for our 3 nights in Anchorage. Front desk staff was always cheerful and quick to take care of any request. Room was spacious, clean and quiet, especially for proximity to the airport and the float plane base. Free airport shuttle is a huge benefit. Food and service at Pipers was also excellent. I would recommend family and friends stay here.”

“This place is a DUMP! Stayed one night to catch an early flight. In need of MAJOR renovation! Old musty carpets to old, and patchy paint, poor squeaky floors from one end to the other. If my wife was with me, I would have not stayed at all. Early morning shuttle was there and timely the next morning. Nut the only positive thing I can say! ”

“This is NOT an Inn, but a 4bdrm property that has long term renters. Dirty, unorganized, no communication, no staff, nothing as advertised. Front door has a 6 didget code that was never provided, as wifi password requested multiple times. ”

“It’s not an inn, it’s a two bedroom apartment with one share bathroom & kitchen. The manager who hand me the key promised he will bring the continental breakfast but I guess he lied. I have diabetes & I was very serious about having food around. His wife said she was busy! Furthermore, the kitchen sink had dog hair. I showed her when came with a potential guest & all she said was oh no! But she didn’t clean it up! The dishwasher was absolutely dirty & had water that turned green. I had to share...

“Jewel Lake was a house style Bed and Breakfast. You make your own breakfast, but the kitchen was stocked well. Our room was in the basement with steep stairs so I don’t recommend those rooms for older travelers. There are rooms on the main floor of the house. Clean and comfortable. We would recommend for a short stay. Most people use it for cruise layover time. We took an Uber into Anchorage and did a tour which was fun too. ”

“The day we checked in and as we almost made it to our room, the fire alarm went off. With luggage in hand we ran down the stairs and found the outdoor exit with another guest. We made our way to the front of the building and learned it was a false alarm, thank goodness. Anyway, fun times :-) The staff is wonderful and kind. Breakfast was wonderful with optoons to have omelets made the way you want, and pancakes too. Our room was clean and quite. Overall, great stay.”

“We weren’t sure about this hotel initially since we were arriving after hours with no ‘human’ on duty. But the experience was awesome. Received code to our room day of arrival. Room was clean and comfortable. I left something on premises and when I reached out they went out of their way to find it and ship it back to me. Very close to Alaska Railroad for train ride to cruises. Perfect for our purposes! Highly recommend!”
