“The Highliner is a modern hotel with only a housekeeping staff. The rooms and modern and comfortable. Its in a great downtown location. Don't miss the Fire Island Bakery one block down K street.”

“The rooms were clean and well-maintained. Although the hotel is older, it has been updated nicely and feels well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The coffee was disappointing - perhaps it wasn’t fresh - but that was a minor issue. Overall, I had a decent experience. I was only staying for one night before an early morning drive, so it was simply a quick stop for a good night’s sleep.”

“We booked a studio with kitchen. Checked in at night. Next morning, we found the kitchen sink was leaking. We called front desk immediately, and also told cleaning staff about the issue. But until we left, nobody come to fix it. Front desk staff excused that their repair person was not available.”

“due to booking error I asked to move the dates to the correct date. The request was denied and I lost $350. I don't think moving a date was an impossible request. In my opinion, this is not how you treat guests who have to come to your establishment. Really bad”

“The shuttle service was wonderful. Took us from the airport to dinner and had our luggage waiting in the room after we were picked up from dinner. The owner took us back to the airport so we could get there earlier than we had requested. Service like that is rare today. Yes, the property is dated, but the walls were thick enough we couldn't hear our neighbors, and it was clean, spacious and comfortable!”

“The staff was amazing. The room was clean and nicely made. There isn't a fan in the bathroom but that was not a problem for us. 10/10 would stay again.”

“This place was terrible. Dirty we had two towels no washcloths no hand towels. And not a lot of anything else. We had a TV through the cracks your cable that went to nowhere so we got about four channels. Luckily I plugged my computer in with an HDMI cable and was able to watch some good shows off my computer. I would highly recommend you not stay here.”
