“My son and I stayed one night on Easter Weekend on our way through the area. I've stayed in Whistler many other times in a tent and a travel trailer and had much more restful sleeps! For a kitchenette unit, it had almost no useful dishes (including no coffee cups for the coffee maker!), there was no blanket for the sofa bed for my son and we were woken up repeatedly by loud sounds starting at 4:30am. These issues would have been annoying but what kicked this review all the way down to 1-star is...

“Beware what the listing for the room says. Mine said king bed studio. Nowhere did it say it was a MURPHY bed, ie not a real mattress - plus the bed angled down towards the head.
I asked front desk if it was possible to change rooms but they said the king bed rooms are not part of the hotel, that they are privately and the hotel has no control.
In addition, I tried to contact Expedia because I booked “Cascade Lodge Hotel” via them but it was impossible to speak to an actual person.

“We had a great stay. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with a mountain view. The hotel is located right at the base of the mountain in the village. The Longhorn Saloon is right next door so expect to hear thumping music until 10 pm. The hotel provided ear plugs for this. The hot tub was a great addition although you can only book it for 30 mins, but gives you privacy.”

“Tutto perfetto. Ragazzi reception gentilissimi. Pulizia ottima. Posizione splendida. Possibilità di parcheggio privato comodo un po’ costoso. Materassi e letti comodi. Ma per un aspetto non ho dato il massimo: non si può avere in un bel hotel vasca da bagno con tenda e poi per le mani un dispenser da supermercato. Inoltre il miscelatore doccia pessimo. Questo mi ha portato ad abbassare il voto da ottimo a buono. ”
