Hotel vicino a Hudson Highlands Nature Museum - Cornwall

“An interesting and beautiful historical site. The mansion has been beautifully preserved and simultaneously updated with all the modern amenities needed to be comfortable, including well-equipped bathrooms and comfortable beds. The owners love to make breakfast for the guests so don’t skip that part of the experience. Cornwall itself is a hidden gem and wonderful escape. Enjoy! ”

“We slept well and our dog approved of his sleep as well. This facility has an indoor pool, however, it is apparently only open "seasonally". Expedia did not disclose this. Cleanliness here was subpar. Sheets/blankets/curtains are stained, furniture (night stands, desk, TV stand, etc) need more than just the tops wiped down as they are obviously dirty with dried fluids, etc. on them) There were no extra rolls of toilet paper, there were no extra towels, and the 2 "bath towels" that were...

“ The room was not cleaned. The bed sheets were not changed. I found dirt and hair while checking the bed. Then I took off the pillow cases the pillows were stained yellow”

“I was highly disappointed. There was spitup on the bed rail and vents were extremely dirty. It's an older building too. There were cigarette stains on the dresser. No rooms were available to change and the housekeeper tired and clean but the presentation turned me off. ”

“We stayed at the cottages which were clean and welcoming. The only thing to keep in mind is that the common area IS common, so if you don’t want to socialize, it might not be the space for you. We had a party with us that all knew each other (and we were the only room who didn’t) and they hung out there all night talking. Not a fault of the property, but maybe stay in the main inn if you’re looking for a little more privacy.”
