“My bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. I did read in advance that the kitchens were not stocked- you would have to ask the front desk for supplies like utensils and glasses, which I did. The only thing in the kitchen was a kitchen towel and a small packet of dishwasher detergent. But there wasn't a dishwasher, so cleaning your borrowed kitchen items with dishwasher detergent powder is not exactly normal. They should have little bottles of dish soap. “Easy comfortable room.”

“The room was clean, and nice. The door coming into room, you could feel small amount of cold air when closed. Location off highway, convenient, but noisy due to traffic. Overall enjoyed the stay.”

“I wasn’t told that the hotel was under renovation and the fact that there was no hot tub were the only negatives. Oh and the pool area is VERY slippery. It’s a fall just waiting to happen. Everything else was very good! ”

“The lobby, hallways and stairway was filthy. Hallway looked as though it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. I’ve never been to an Extended Stay that had nothing in the kitchen but one disposable plastic cup. No dish ware or utensils or any pots or even a dish.front desk closes early and opens lat 10 AM. ”

“The Vanguard in Ann Arbor went beyond my expectations! The room, lobby, restaurant and staff were exceptional! Our daughter was a student at U of M and we have stayed at many of the on-campus hotels throughout the years. The Vanguard is in a class of its own! I can't wait to stay there again!!! “Well our wedding night was ruined because of our Room the walls had cracks all over it out side our door you can tell there was water damage from the 2nd floor that had jacuzzi tubs which we had one reserved when we arrived got told they where closed for renovations on the tubs then got told we would get a different room which I described above, we didn’t even have toilet paper we asks for it an they front desk said it will be 30 mins til the person getting in will have it, waited then went...
