“This property was conveniently located for my stay. The bedding was clean and new. However, the room needs updates. My door needed to be pulled closed. Could easily have been left askew. Then when closed, there was light coming through the crack.”

“Even if some renovations were in progress during my stay, everything has gone fine. Never heard any noise from the renovations work. Affordable price for the room. Breakfast include.”

“This is an old dilapidated hotel. We were assigned to single room when I booked a double. We were given a rejected double room. Unacceptable from dirty windows, non-working wifi that needed attention from the staff, who were just slow to attend to the issue, broken furnitures, TV that needs fixing, shower knobs that is almost coming out of the wall, old AC unit that is noisy as it can get. Just terrible to be in. Requested a room transfer but the desk was firm on not giving into our request. Why...

“There is laundry. There is a small exercise room. It took several attempts before I could use the internet, but I eventually was able to.”

“Fan in the room kept us up all night making noise like it needed to be repaired. The "breakfast" was not a breakfast at all! Simply a cellophane wrapped tiny muffin and coffee.”

“The major issue is the internet, which was very choppy and slow. It would also have been nice to have some water available for the guests rather than having them pay for it each day.”

“Charged by Expedia and by hotel. Hotel claimed they didn’t see it on their end. 5 days later still waiting for a refund. Hotel is nice. Staffing not sure much.”

“I stay as for an outpatient visit to U Of M hospital. Great location for being downtown and proximity to the hospital facilities. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and ballet service was convenient. Ordered salads to go from the bar, which has a tapas menu. Service was good, but took a while for two salads to be prepared and the salads were OK, but not great.”

“Excellent staff but the place was very run down. Smelled like a dog when we walked in and our room smelled like old cooking grease. No shampoo in the bathroom. Dressers and furniture were really beat up. I get that it is not a luxury hotel, but for $250/ night (graduation weekend price gouging), it was hard to swallow. Not gonna extend my stay here.”

“Check in clerk was not very friendly or helpful. Everything else was good. Disappointed that a $50.00 deposit was added when we checked in, never mentioned when we booked the room. It was explained that it would be refunded when we checked out. Waiting to see if that happens. Not understanding why that is necessary.”
