Welcome to the Overlook Lodge!

Retreat to our 3 bed, 2 bath cozy log cabin tucked away in the St. Mary's Glacier community. Enjoy 2 floors of wooden wrap-around decks that look out into the surrounding mountains, relax in one of the adirondack chairs by the private creek on our newly-built deck, or go fishing at the 2 nearby lakes. Our enclosed Hot Tub and cast-iron wood stove will warm you up when you return from nearby ski resorts.

☀ Spacious 3-story lodge with high ceilings, log framing, and rustic decor give it that cozy cabin feel! Master bedroom has king bed upstairs with attached sauna-style bathroom and dedicated kids loft connected.
☀ Two guest rooms w/ queen beds on main floor - extra pillows and blankets available to you. Futon sofa located in basement for guests 7 & 8, and twin bed on the loft great for a child. Open your windows in the summer for the sound of the rushing creek right outside!
☀ Fully-equipped kitchen for whatever you're whipping up. The nearest grocery is in Idaho Springs (can have low stock during peak summer months).
☀ Curl up on the one of the couches to watch some TV or grab a game from the stocked cupboard to play around the built-in dining table. Don't forget the cast-iron wood burning stove available for use in the main room!
☀ Roku TV in the living room can be used with your Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, or streaming service. Or get old-school by watching a DVD from our big collection!
☀ Sound bar can be connected through bluetooth to your mobile device for listening to your favorite tunes.
☀ Basement is a game room with Pool table, futon, and mini-bar for your group's enjoyment.
☀ Starlink internet will make staying connected easy (if you want to)!
☀ Washer + Dryer available for use.
☀ Latched gates are on all staircases to keep children safe.

☆☆OUTSIDE☆☆
☀ Gaze out across the valley from the top deck towards Mt. Evans while cooking on the massive 8-burner propane grill, or lounge on the patio furniture (during Summer) as you watch clouds roll over the surrounding mountains.
☀ The wrap-around deck lets you see Silver Creek from above, but feel free to walk down the rocky path where you can sit and really take in the sound of rushing water from the river-side lookout deck.
☀ Newly built private hot tub room located on the lower deck - available all-year round w/ Bluetooth speakers available to connect to while you relax.
☀ Hiking, biking, and 4-wheeler trails surround us!
☀ We have 2 fishing badges available for use at the nearby lakes - please ask if interested in using so we can pass along the local rules.

Other Things to Note:
☀ The cabin is located at 10,500ft elevation. We recommend that you hydrate before and during your stay. Portable oxygen is available at local grocery stores.
☀ 4WD vehicles w/ Snow Tires are highly recommended from November through May due to our winter driving conditions. Snow chains are a plus!
☀ We plow the driveway during winter months, but ice & snow may still be present on the property. Watch your step!
☀ Internet provider is Starlink. It is the best available on the mountain, but can be slower than you are used to and may be subject to interruptions on wifi/video calls & during inclement weather. AT&T cellular usually gets great service at the cabin.
